Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- chimayredDurham, NH2,598 contributionsdefinitely a hidden gem; we walked there, about 1-1.5miles from Gambino Hotel on Fasangarten S Bahn stop, pleasant and easy walk. Thankfully they did have an English menu and of course our waitress spoke immaculate English, so my third grade level german wasn't necessary. This is a brewery and restaurant. We could not get the Blonde Bock, so we got a wheat and helles. The beers were good, not fantastic. The food was very good, typically german, kraut, bread, i got "juniper ham" which was sort of like leberkase, and we also got a terrific plate of meats, cheese and pickles, etc. which i think was particularly good. WE enjoyed it immensely and all the staff were very friendly; bartenders, cooks were coming out every now and then; there was a child of one of the managers or owners who came out, couldn't have been more than ten, dressed to work, and really cute; every body was kidding with her, so it was a very relaxed and enjoyable place.Written 21 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - FredericIsteurSheffield, UK4 contributionsBit out the way the Brewery pub 5 mins walk from HackerbrĂĽcke S-Bhf.
Not expensive . But the 20 or so waiters/bouncers constantly walking about the place are on the whole intimidating and some are kinda rude.
The food is ok especially if you like pork and ofcotse the beer is excellent. Good prices by Munich Standards...Written 24 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Each stop has a long winded explanation, the two hour tour could easily shave off 30-mins. The real treat is the 90-min guest house stop at the top of Spaten tower. You’ll enjoy a snack and all the beer you can enjoy in the allotted time. But the real bonus is the outdoor balcony that affords a fantastic view of the city. If you’ve got 4-hours to spend… it’s worth it.Written 13 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- CharlesPeterParis, France1 contributionNice to see a bigger beer manufacturer with a craft beer mind. Too bad the guide didn’t offer the nerdiest level of knowledge.Written 8 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 132TravelMama123Munich, Germany4 contributionsWe attended an hour event - beer lecture and sampling. The staff was really friendly and explained the whole brewery process and talked about their all organic and local ingredients which go into their beers. We did a tasting as well and the products were really good.
The only negative was that it was quite loud and hard to hear all of the information. The brewery is really one room and other people were coming in to buy or get info/do tastings and their voices along with some of the machinery made it difficult to hear. Surely when the weather is better it is not as bad as they have the opportunity to have people sit outside and talk. Not sure if they do tours in English, but it is a nice place to visit for a quick hour - or just stop by and buy a few beers :).Written 13 January 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
