Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

In just a few moments, the elevator takes you to an altitude of 85 metres and you can see a different highlight of the city in every direction: directly opposite is the Alter Peter (church), on one side of the tower is the Frauenkirche (church), on the other the Altes Rathaus (old town hall) and to the north there is the Italian-looking Theatinerkirche (church). And if the weather is good, the impressive Alpine chains stretch across the entire horizon to the south.

This is an important building in the regional government of Germany but it is somewhat hidden between the Residenz and the English Garden. We happen upon it after cutting through the Hofgarten to see the WWI Memorial. The building itself is an interesting combination of an historic US statehouse, complete with dome, and a cutting edge tech related building. I will say it is a beautiful backdrop to the memorial.

A carved totum pole looks out of place in this old historic city. Intricate carvings but a little dull

This is the New Justice Building located next to the beautiful Justizpalast and across the street from the Old Botanical Garden.

The building dates back to the early 20th-century and is Neo-Gothic in style. You'll see red-brown brick facade, in the manner of unfinished medieval buildings. There is an impressive step gable and clock face on the facade as well.

If you enjoy architecture and find yourself in the area, give the building a quick walk around. It makes for a nice contract to the elaborate Neo-Baroque Justizpalast just next door.

The building is named after Prinz Carl, the brother of the future King Ludwig I of Bavaria, hence it's name. Designed by the architect Karl von Fischer, it's built in a early neo-classical style, it's now used as the official the Bavarian Prime Ministers in 1924 not not open to the public

Just in front of the palace on the forecourt is the Prince Carl Palais Fountain. Overall, not worth the effort to see this building or the fountain.
