The event is really well organised. The fair where you get you bib number is huge, with all sorts of sporting goods to sell.
Race day is also well organized and you run with people cheering for the entire course! It seemed like the race passed on the blink of an eye (and I took almost 4 hours to complete it).
My only complaint is about the medal on my year (2019) - they wanted to honor an employee that worked on the race organisation. Although I recognise that he must have been an important figure in the Berlin Marathon history, the runners don't know him and I guessed I preferred to have an athlete engraved on my medal.
