Valuable information about the damage caused by the air raids of the WWII. - Yulgok1Bangor, UK2 contributionsOndrej was an incredible guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable not only about Dresden and Saxon Switzerland, but also about Prague in general. He gave us amazing tips and facts. He also took some awesome photos of me and my girlfriend! He even offered us some ideas for where to visit next in and around Prague, just a shame it was our last day when we met him. Overall 10/10 and Ondrej made the trip memorable, exciting and enjoyable the whole time. It felt as though a friend was showing us around their home rather than a tour guide. I particularly appreciated his balanced and nuanced interpretation of Dresden’s history. Although we had the narration in English through ear pieces it was extremely limited and did not provide adequate explanation of the sights. There were many long pauses in the narration. However, the German commentary was over the loud soeaker, not prerecorded, was incessant and did not stop for the entire 2 hours. Unfortunately we could not hear the English audio guide because the German audio is so loud. It was awesome with a landscape that wouldn’t have looked out of place on the film set of Lord OF the Rings. It was even snowing which was a bonus at Christmas. Adam (the guide) was funny with great knowledge and took care of us. The meal in the Czech Republic was great! We had the pleasure of spending the day with Joseph Squared - they are incredibly knowledgeable and engaging and sooooo much fun to spend the day with. The sights we saw were very beautiful and we plan to return to the Czech to enjoy more of the scenery! We also had a fabulous lunch experience! - Birdy Wei-ting H4 contributionsSimona is an excellent guide: kind, thoughtful, informative. She is extremely passionate about what she is doing! Go2Bohemia offers well-planned hiking trips to Saxony/Bohemia-Switzerland Park. I especially appreciate how Simona insists on keeping the group small (usually no more than 7 people). They made the commute easy and super comfy: only an hour from Dresden. We had three short to medium hikes in one day! The hikes themselves were too demanding: easy to medium level. We visited during excessive heat waves, which was the challenging part. That said, icy cold water and simple snacks were always available in the van. That's how thoughtful they are. The Local Czechia food was absolutely delicious. The scenery took our breath away. Good people, great memories! If you are looking for an intimate and fun hike, a little runaway from the cities, book a tour with Go2Bohemia!
Big THANKS to Simona, George, and Marcela! It was a wonderful time. I will not hesitate to do it again, maybe in winter next time.
