Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Not your typical museum. Great exhibits, cars and dresses and more.
We were missing the audio tour, temporarily unavailable but the plaques were explanatory.
Staff very polite and welcoming. And most importantly it wasn’t as overcrowded as the museums in the centre.
Check opening hours before you set off.

A lovely little museum containing an exquisite collection of glass in a beautiful building.
Everyone gets a guided tour and the wonderful Ricardo was our guide. We went a bit in, but when the tour ended he took us back so we could enjoy the beginning that we had missed. Ricardo was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. A highlight was seeing glass from Ireland where my sister lives and Swedish glass from Orrefors where I live.
Thank you Ricardo for a memorable experience.

The no. 2 bus from the Atarazanas has a regular service. However, its about a 20 minute walk uphill from the terminus to the entrance to the park (you have to cross under the motorway to get there). The park is massive but has a well signposted trail of paths around it. There is a good cafe and plenty of toilets around the paths. There is a lot of information as you walk round both about the history of the gardens and its founders. Different areas focus on particular aspects of subtropical plants e.g. the Mediterranean plants, the cacti area, Palm trees. We visited in February but imagine that there would be a riot of colour from Spring to Autumn. We spent the whole day there and still didn’t see everything.

What wonderful experience! Intimate tablao show, with incredibly talented and soulful musicians. Serious art form, and so incredibly hypnotizing!

Set in a very old building this museum is well laid out and worth a visit.
Basically it sets out the industries of the area from older times and each room depicts a particular theme, a bit like a small Beamish.
Easy to find and cheap at 4 euros, even less if you are a pensioner.

Situated directly across from Dulces Dreams Boutique Hostel and Café Gallery, the church from the outside doesn’t appear to be overly impressive; however, once you go inside you realize your initial perceptions were wrong. I loved the churches unique architecture with all its detail. It was in essence, a hidden gem as it had not even registered on our list of places to visit.

Really enjoyed myself. Would recommend to friends. I went as soon as they open. Was interested in the Flamenco show, so bought a combo ticket. The lady at the desk advised me to wait and return one hour before the show. That way I can enjoy the museum and the show at the same time. Museum had many interactive components. Nice to play the different instruments. The drum kit was my favorite. The show was fantastic. I didn't understand any of the Spanish lyrics, but the music and dance was awesome.

This is a real hidden gem and worth seeking out. Rando's work is sublime, thought provoking and varied. Each gallery has it's own story to tell and the images are certainly striking and memorable. The welcome is warm and staff really helpful and informative. Free entry was a real bonus, although I would have been quite happy to pay.

Fabulous place, beautifully kept (specially knowing that the guys working there are volunteers, they do a fantastic job). José Antonio, Antonio and Joaquin made our visit so special! They were very kind, knowledgeable and full of interesting information. Not a gigantic museum; you can walk in and out the different buildings, at your own pace. Definitely recommend it!

This place was very nice to see, but we came after they couldn't sell a beer, but only clothes. we were allowed to bring som our self and enjoy the atmosphere, but a crazy gotta girl scared me away after I made a recording of the surroundings. They were a few young people drinking and probably something more which made a angry with my recording. Because of that I didn't come back, but I hope I can come back and have a better experience.

We visited The X-Door Malaga in February 2023. A family of 4 adults, we visited twice and attempted to escape from The Haunted Prison and the Black and White room. We had great fun, and Sonia watched our every move, offering us clues when needed. We escaped from only one room! The fear of the Haunted Prison is all in the mind and it doesn't have to be scary. We would definitely recommend it. It's perfectly positioned in the heart of Malaga and it's limited to one hour out of your sightseeing day.

We had the most perfect day. It was the highlight of our 3 week trip. Lynsey and her daughter were wonderful hosts. Although it was raining, we were warm and cozy from the fireplace in their beautiful home. We particularly enjoyed learning of their transition to living in a new country. Food is abundant. Even the biggest eaters in our group were stuffed. I highly recommend this experience.
