Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Entrance price includes a bus trip round the park with a audio guide with lots of info. Lots of staff about that are very helpful and friendly. Well worth a visit to understand a little more about the islkand.

As a family of four and needing to please two children, one wanting a zoo and the other a water park. This was perfect to meet their "wants" of a family day out. The zoo was small enough to spend a few hours in and the shows were just amazing. The dolphin show was the best I have ever seen. It was so good and the photo opportunity at the end was an unexpected surprise!
After the zoo we ate dinner in the ranch restaurant which was great, amazing selection from pizza to burgers, all at a very reasonable price. We all had a meal and a drink each and it cost just under €40.
After dinner we headed to the water park, no scramble for sun beds and the park was great not too big and no ques for slides it was just enough to keep the kids entertained for 2 hours. I would definitely recommend this park to family's for a great day out to please different interests! And I would definitely return.

A short walk along the promenade from Mirador Papagayo is Marina Rubicon, a peaceful and pleasant marina with a jetty capable of berthing 487 boats.

The Marina also benefits from a range of shops and cafes/bars, power supplies, maintenance teams, as well as an on-site laundry service that means that the sea-faring traveller could moor up here in complete self-sufficiency for as long as they wished.

The Marina itself benefits from its surroundings as it is protected from strong winds due to its location which is roughly equidistant between the beaches of Papagayo and Playa Blanca. It also benefits from lovely clear water in which you can sit and watch large fish, massive rays (be them Manta, Devil - I have no idea), and red crabs.

This isn't the Marina of the obscene. It's isn't Monte Carlo. The boats here are indeed impressive, but you don't feel that you are amongst the out of touch super-wealthy. There are, in fact, a mixture of vessels, including fishing boats, catamarans, and smart yachts.

I always enjoy walking down here to partake in a bit of nautical culture (such as I can manage) and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the area. Its a lovely place.

Pleasant visit overall but certain areas are a little but dangerous, I was carrying our toddler in a baby carrier and really had a hard time completing the visit. Also, we thought it'd be cold inside the cave but it's not so no need to bring extra clothes

Really lovely beaches here. We access track is rough but worth the trek.
Costs 3 euros to get into the park but there are 3 or 4 beaches to go to.
We didn't go to the cafe but it looked nice.
If you like geocaching there are 2 here.

Lovely place and breathtaking views of Famara and the graciosa island. The place can get very crowded when tourist buses arrive but it empties quickly too. The cafeteria is quite nice, food is allright and prices reasonable.
Not too sure why the admission fee is so high though (8Eur/adult), it just gets you in the cafeteria and the tiny souvenir shop. You can avoid paying that fee and enjoy the same view if you walk around the mirador building.

Very pretty setting to see the white crabs.
I thought the entrance fee was a little bit high compared with the other places that we visited

This is a Volcano that most people can comfortably climb. We walked from Flamingo Beach and the round trip is about 5km. On foot head for Calle Espana and follow this until you see a dried up stream/path up to your right and a coms mast. Head for this and the path becomes clear leading to the top and a walk around the rime of the old crater. Great views for not too much effort...and see the occasional lizzard too

Free to visit. Stunning sea views & quirky rock formations. Not too busy when we were there. The road from the salt pans was blocked the day we visited so had to backtrack slightly & go around but worth the effort.

Safe beach with plenty of sun beds and parasols (€12 for two beds and a parasol for the day) or just sit on the sand. Protected by lifeguards. Small cafe at one end of the beach and beach restaurant in the middle. Some water sports available. Soft, golden sand. Toilets available in the restaurant and shower nearby.
