Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
Learn more about our review moderation.

- WagoneerConestoga, PA1,183 contributionsThis church is located in the historic grand Plaza. Our hotel was on the plaza and we were very impressed with the understated beauty of this church. It dates from the 14th century and served pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago (the door even has "Santa Maria del Camino" carved into it.
Unfortunately we were unable to visit it at a time when it was open. We would have liked to have seen the interior.
Behind the church is a large stone cross which is worthy of note.Written 15 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - hans-jaguarSanta Comba Dao, Portugal22,328 contributionsThis convent belongs at the “Orden de la Inmaculada Concepción, who has being founded in Santo Toledo and this by Beatriz de Silva in the year 1489.
The convent was originally the Palace de Doña Leonor de Quiñones. During the times the convent has being demodulated with the money received from different persons or institutions, and doing so they could enlarge the building by buying the surrounding houses, and so they were able to build a church.Written 14 December 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
