- vicwiseman2 contributionsI recently took this tour with some friends, and since we were the only ones on it, it felt like a private tour. Our guide, Francisco, was absolutely wonderful—warm, friendly, and fun. He made us feel like we were his friends.
We had seven food stops on the tour, and given the reasonable price, I was only expecting small bites at each stop. However, we were pleasantly surprised with excellent tasting portions that left us very full and happy!
What I also loved about this tour was that it gave us a better understanding of Barcelona’s layout and provided great ideas for where to eat and drink throughout our stay. Doing this tour at the beginning of our trip really helped us get our bearings.

- peter l1 contributionThis was my second tour with Ivan. After seeing Priorat with him in June I was back in Barcelona in December and wanted to see Penedes. As this was a private tour/solo we planned to hit 2 wineries. El Cep and Giro Del Gorner (including lunch here). Some friends had mentioned another cava house and Ivan was kind enough to swing by there, but they were closed (I guess due to being offseason).
The tour at El Cep was interesting with beautiful vineyards and interesting and historical winery buildings. Very much enjoyed the tasty lunch at Giro Del Gorner.
The wines were all very approachable. I am not a huge fan of sparkling wines, so was mostly focusing on the still wines and looking to buy ones that are not distributed in the USA.
FILLED my wine suitcase and came home happy.
Book with confidence. He knows his stuff and he will get you to family owned boutique producers that are focused on quality.

Doing the Catalán tour gave us insights into the culture and the food which we wouldn't have had otherwise and which stayed with us for the rest of our visit. Senem was so knowledgeable -- and clearly very well known and loved by all the restaurateurs and vendors we met along the way. We loved the first stop, La Pubilla, so much that we went back for dinner, and the visit to Mercat de Libertad provided us some great insights as to how the municipality of Barcelona manages its public markets. Our guide, Adrian, was very knowledgeable about the local history and traditions and expertly guided us around. - Navigator3100966 contributionsMy wife Tawnya and I had the absolute pleasure of having Krisztina as our guide during our walking tour of Barcelona, and we couldn't be more impressed. She was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the city's rich history and cultural landmarks but also had a gift for storytelling that made everything come alive. Her English was perfect, making the tour easy to follow, and she was always happy to answer any questions we had. What really stood out, though, was her warm and personable nature. Krisztina made us feel so welcome and made the experience both educational and fun. We highly recommend her as a guide for anyone visiting Barcelona.
