Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful display of Gaudi's first major project! We thoroughly enjoyed going as a family. There are ramps, elevators, and changing rooms which is very helpful to families with little ones.

Stroll through the arch and continue straight into one of Barcelona’s most beautiful parks. It feels like you’re walking from one iconic landmark into another, making for a lovely afternoon itinerary.

Impressive monument to the explorer who lost his way enroute to India. The monument includes a grand carved base, and a 60-meter column with statue of Columbus at the top. Located at the end of Las Ramblas near the waterfront. The monument was built for the Barcelona Exhibition of 1888.

Ciutadella Park is a wonderful place to pass your day exploring at leisure. There is much to do and have great fun. A great place in the middle of the city.

It's a curious and attractive outdoor scuplture in the middle of one of the big walking streets in the old town. Modern, attractive.

The Quatre Columnes are behind the Magic Fountain. I am not sure that they perform any purpose as they are not supporting anything. Perhaps they were in the past?

They are quite impressive and make part of an impressive picture of the architecture in the area.

Used to be an advertisement for the "Gambrinus" restaurant - the restaurant is gone the Shrimp designed by Javier Mariscal is till there.
As you walk the waterfront on the Passeig de Colom - you will sooner or later find it - as long as you go towards the Port Vell area - or back from that direction.
It is interesting and funny in the same time- since the municipality of Barcelona decided to keep it there - although the restaurant doesn't exist anymore.
Over the year it became a sort of a landmark - so when you are walking in the area - for sure it is worth a few pics.

A very interesting sculpture (representing never ending stairs, symbolising the regions struggles) dedicated to the first president of Catalonia, Francesca Macia.

El Toro Pensador is the unusual sculpture of a very thoughtful Bull! Barcelona is full of beautiful sculptures, many of them in animal form, and this one is no exception. The interesting thing here is that at the other end of Las Rambla there sits another animal sculpture (the Flirty Giraffe), and it seems as if the two animals will soon start to want to come closer to each other; but you will have to meet both animals in order to understand the connection.

Interesting scultpture showing a Giraffe in an flirty pose, located at the start of the Rambla street, worth a look while talking a walk in the area. There is also a second one at the other end of the Rambla street.

I saw this while running through the park one morning. There are several other statues in the park as well, but I would say this is the main one.

This bandstand in Parc de la Ciutadella stands in memory of Sonia Rescalvo Zafra, a transexual who was murdered by a group of Neo-Nazis in the park in1991. A murder which became a turning point in public attitudes towards transexuals in Spain.

The bandstand isn't much to see, but plus one for the gesture.
