Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you’re in Barcelona, this is an absolute must-visit. The sheer amount of detail in the architecture is astounding, and every glance reveals something new to admire. We had a private guide who was fantastic, offering deep insights and pointing out intricate details we might have missed. While not essential, having a guide definitely enriches an already unforgettable experience.

Just wanted to let people know that this Casa looks amazing from the outside at night. It is bathed in a golden glow. At the top there is a dragon and the windows are the skulls of it's victims. No cost to see this from the outside, on the street. A "must see!"

This is probably the most impressive of all the attractions we visited in Barcelona. The architecture, the colours, the design are all quite spectacular. The staff were also helpful and friendly.

Since this was the first stop on our tour (WithLocals - Sagrada Familia and Casa Mila Tour: Light, Color & Architecture with Pili, which was excellent, by the way), we did not include a visit to the interior. Having said that, the house itself is impressive from the outside. Since you’ll be in the area for Botllo, it is worth taking some time to admire “The Stone Quarry."

We had no expectations but ended up going along with my 13, 17 and 20 year old. The church was very beautiful and majestic sitting on top of the hilltop. The views were great and I can see on a sunny day (it was cloudy for us) how much more amazing the views are. The unique side to this location is next to a very small amusement park where at first thought it was strange but really then realized it was great. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere, and definitely recommend to people who want to explore different areas of Barcelona. I think you will come out liking this place regardless of what you feel about religion.

Casa Vicens was the first architecturall project by Antonio Gaudi. The building was a summer house for Manuel Vicens. The design was very bright for any building and the tour highlights the features which would repeat in Gaudi’s future work.

The entry ticket was bought on site (discounted with the Barcelona Card). With entry you get two discount vouchers - spend €5 at the gift shop for a €3 discount and 15% off at the cafe.

The audio guide is accessed via a QR code and can be listened to on your smartphone, so bring your headphones. If you haven't brought your headphones or have hearing impairment, the audio guide is transcribed.

We toured mid afternoon. No audio guides were available although we saw others using them and we didn’t use app. There were a number of explanations posted in the rooms. . You followed numbers room to room. We couldn’t figure out how to access rooftop. There were very few people to ask. But once we found someone, they were very helpful. House is very large and dark. Lots of steps. Tour Includes basement. There is one bathroom in basement. Overall interesting but not very well run.

This was maybe my favorite thing in all of Barcelona because of the amazing architecture. No need to buy tickets in advance, although some people did. We purchased our tickets and audio guide on site with no issues. We spent about an hour and 45 minutes here in total and loved the architecture. The audioguide was good, and there were plenty of signs around and even a short movie. Well with a visit!!

The collection is not very large, but worth the visit. From the history of Miro to some of his iconic pantings, this place is a great destination in Barcelona. For me, however, the highlight has always been the Calder fountain in memory of the miners that does not run on water, but mercury. Not only gorgeous to look at, but very impactful. Views of the city from the surroundings are great, too.

Pro tip: Go early in the morning before the school groups. Otherwise you will find yourself in a zoo of teenagers counting the minutes to get out of there and acting accordingly.

Very nice area. This is a great area for walking, shopping, cafes and rooftop bars. The area feels very safe and it extremely clean. It is getting incredibly busy with tourists. I can completely understand the residents concerns about tourism.

My wife and I booked this experience after visiting Casa Batllo next door and it was brilliant as well as enlightening. You are escorted round as this was a family home and it is very ornate and it is well looked after. Very interesting experience and well worth a visit.

We did not have much time so we just checked from the outside. The buildings were so nice, check out the tiny details. Fantastic!

The guided English tour was excellent. There were just two of us so we essentially had a private tour. Our guide provided so much detail as to the history of the site and he answered all our questions very well. This house is not as well known as other Gaudi sites so it was very quiet when we first arrived in the morning. It got a little busier by the time we left but not crowded. This was a really interesting site (one of my favorites). We took a taxi to the house since we were running late but walked to the metro and took the metro back afterwards. Not a long walk at all. Highly recommend.

One of the most dramatic Modernista buildings in BCN. We walked slowly by, lingering to take photos. You can get a good shot as this one is located on the broad Passeig.

I loved my recent trip to the Monestir de Pedrables - a peaceful, beautiful oasis. Excellent value as it only cost 5 euro entry. Friendly staff and an easy to follow self guided tour. Loved it.
