Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Konstantina M1 contributionThis is the best experience about Banksy museum! A lot of art pieces. The stuff is amazing and very polite. You should come here for sure. I hope I’ll be back here again.Written 22 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Anelise CsapoBarcelona, Spain25 contributionsIn the tangled web that connects urban artists with public and private institutions and the general public, urban art is the thread that balances on the fine line of a tightrope. If in the public space your presence is ephemeral, in the private sphere it is the gallery that mediates and helps you cross the bridge that will take you to the artist so that his work (contemporary and boldly urban) becomes part of your intimacy. Just walk past it, without even having entered yet, and you will be struck by the contrasting dichotomy between timeless urban art inserted in a place built over a hundred years ago, which represents an authentic public heritage of the history of this city. And this is just one of the addresses of this gallery (Carrer del Avinnyo, 31) that has a double life (the other address is Carrer del Palau, 4, two blocks apart). The gallery at the last mentioned address also has surprises. At any moment, you may find one of the artists represented creating with the doors open and you may have the incredible opportunity to witness one of these unique moments and, as a bonus, meet one of these radiant human beings in action. The person responsible for the chemical reaction that makes this creative mix possible is the owner, founder and agent, Robert Burt. It is impossible to leave this experience, however it presents itself to you, without the relevant impact that will mark your contemporary criteria. I recommend it as a resident of the city, a neighbor of the gallery and an integrated participant in the latent life of this Barcelona that welcomes me every day.Written 11 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - John WDouglas, UK2,423 contributionsExciting building architecture, but so much wasted space. Displays very poor. Very little painting. Lots of video installations. Not worth my free entrance fee.Written 27 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- 159sabrina2018London, UK22 contributionsAmazing!!! From the moment I walked in wow, the service! I was getting a blow dry by Maria and everything was perfect. The way she washed my hair, the head massage, the best I’ve ever had and I go for blow drys often and all over the world! Everything down to the small touches was thought about and truly perfect! Would come back every time i come to Barcelona. Highly recommend Maria!Written 17 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Plastic Sun is made from everyday bits and pieces of throwaway plastic such as brushes and pipes. What's more, they accept pets, and the selection of works of art is very tasteful for lovers of street art and contemporary art.

There are not many (any) originals but more copies of the works. Well worth a visit!Written 5 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - michellefromnyNew York City, NY3 contributionsThis is a fantastic gallery, combining unique fashion pieces and highly interesting art of different mediums. - Frances WGeneva, Switzerland339 contributionsPalau Macaya was designed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch, second only to Gaudi in the Catalan Art Nouveau movement, who is the author of several buildings in Barcelona but is little known to most visitors these days. Built as a family home for a rich industrialist, Palau Macaya passed through various uses before being turned into a cultural centre run by the La Caixa Foundation. Apart from the elegant decorated street facade, it is enough just to pop in to the light-filled atrium that serves as an entry hall with its balustraded staircase and tiled walls and floor. There is also an interesting photographic exhibition about the building and its architect.Written 1 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jean-Charles PBarcelona, Spain2 contributionsVery authentic contemporary and street art workshop. It’s better than a gallery, you get to see the backstage, where the artists work. You can also buy original artwork, I like the fact that all pieces are unique and handmade (not prints).
Close to several street art galleries.Written 26 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Ferran Josa is an acknowledged expert in European art, and his lifelong passion is reflected in the aesthetic sophistication, good taste, and specificity of his curatorial perspective. His collection offers formal elegance to clients looking to create valuable focal points and space of conversation in their home, and yet his artworks also index the contemporary art historical legacy of Spain and the greater Mediterranean. Whether hoping to acquire a museum quality collector’s item by an established name artist, or a joyful picture by an emergent creator, Pigment Gallery is an excellent resource for art lovers.Written 15 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
