Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Sagrada familia is a must see in Barcelona, but please buy tickets ONLY from the official page. Other agencies sell overpriced tickets and you may end up empty handed like it happened to us with Top Tour I never received the tickets and had to buy them again at the door.

Observing Casa Batlló from the outside is a visual delight. Gaudí’s innovative design features a colorful mosaic façade, undulating lines, and balconies resembling skeletal masks. The arched roof evokes the back of a dragon, symbolizing the legend of Saint George. Even without entering, the building’s imaginative architecture captivates and inspires.

We should have known how amazing this area is, but somehow didn't realize it, and ended up there by accident! It's a fascinating mix of medieval streets and cool modern businesses, but the real attraction for us was the ancient character of the neighborhood. Any random strolling here is rewarding.

We really enjoyed our visit! The lush vegetation gives the place a natural and pleasant charm.
The landscapes are stunning, and the view of Barcelona is simply breathtaking. It’s the perfect spot for a stroll and to take in the beautiful surroundings ! 🌴

The only small downside was that we were slightly disappointed by the colors of the mosaics. After seeing many edited photos online, we expected more vibrant tones. 😅Despite this, the place is still amazing and definitely worth a visit! 😉

The palace was a few blocks from our hotel and it was really stunning The intricate mosaics will blow you away. It is gorgeous on the outside as well as on the inside. We opted to book a flamenco show online a month before our trip. Well worth a visit.

Observing Casa Milà’s undulating stone facade and wrought-iron balconies reminiscent of seaweed showcases Gaudí’s innovative approach. The building’s organic curves and intricate details make it a standout example of modernist architecture. Even without venturing inside, the exterior alone offers a captivating glimpse into Gaudí’s genius.

Basílica de Santa Maria del Mar is a huge building. It was built around the 14th century. The architecture is typical of this sort of church. It looks quite majestic in some ways. It is quite stunning.

The Magic Fountain is indeed pure magic, when it works! We were lucky enough to see it in its full glory and were absolutely thrilled. The volume of water is astounding and the music and whole performance is so exhilarating.

We took the metro to Passeig de Gracia, it was very easy to navigate! We spent the day shopping and exploring the city. Some of the luxury store had lines to enter their stores, and some you just walked in. Overall we had a great time in the city.

So much to see and experience as one wanders along Las Ramblas. Many stalls selling everything one can imagine. Must be aware of hustlers! Much construction happening making the walk a little hazardous.

We had a lovely time here but it is VERY crowded. You get a timed entrance ticket but it didn't seem to matter. We had to wait 30 minutes to enter the museum. But, the store was fantastic as wad the VR experience and the robokeeper. Worth a visit, but just be prepared for lines and a lot of crowds. Give yourself 2+ hours here.

Even though I didn’t go inside, the exterior of the Cathedral of Barcelona alone was enough to impress me. The towering spires, intricate stone carvings, and massive wooden doors create a truly majestic sight. As a Buddhist, I visited purely to appreciate the architecture, and I have to say, the level of craftsmanship is remarkable. The blend of Gothic details, delicate sculptures, and the sheer scale of the building make it a highlight of the city. Whether you are religious or not, this cathedral is a piece of history and an architectural masterpiece worth seeing up close.

Housed in an old building(s) in the old part of town, the museum is located right in the thick of things. A good sized collection featuring artworks of Picasso and his contemporaries. Short films and written explanations were part of the displays. A good value and experience for the price.

Parc de Montjuic is a beautiful park. It's got wonderful, panoramic views of the city, and many gardens and other sights to keep visitors entertained for hours, if not days.
