A must to visit, especially for those interested in series like game of thrones. It is a spectacular monument not only because of religious values but also architectural beauty.

walking through the old city and the buildings provides you with great photo opportunities and a chance to see the locations used for shooting GOT.
Great place to take a walk, stroll or just spend a relaxed afternoon.
Great way to exercise for free.

Beautiful foot bridge over the river to the pedestrian zone. I have also visited the Eiffel bridge in Porto, Portugal.

Lovely to walk over the river or by it. It was very shallow, only
a couple feet deep. Still a sight.

To know Muslim part of Girona you have to visit this Arab Bath. Entrance fee is reasonable and some diagrams are available to see.

The bell tower is supposed to have good views when you get to go up.
The area of the basilica is amazing and it is only a 5min walk from the cathedral.
Visit to basilica and cathedral are included in the same ticket.

The Sant-Domenec steps are amazing location to get a chance to view.
Beautiful spot to take photos and gives you a taste of the old town charm everyone visiting europe is looking for.
If you can come here during the evening, the steps would probably look even more beautiful.

You can compare with the famous street in Barcelona, is very different, La Rambla de La Libertad is the main street inside the old town, the touristic quarter of Girona.

Upon arriving in Girona, my wife and I first walked through this lovely park which led us to the heart of Girona. The park is pretty expansive with lots of trees and some waterways. When we visited the park was very serene and clean. Curiously, there did not appear to be a lot of places to sit, but the grass certainly looked inviting!

A nice way to spend a few hours. We paid for all 3 places, the cathedral, basilica and museum. Very reasonably priced.
