Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Richard BLondon, UK177 contributionsFantastic park in the centre of Madrid. A great place to meander around, laze in the shade or enjoy an ice-cream or cold drink by the side of the lake. Definitely worth a visit.Written 5 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Boris NedevSofia, Bulgaria69 contributionsIt's hard to describe, you have to see it. Four floors of art galleries from different times and styles, with selected works. They don't allow photography.Written 7 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- andrew cPershore, UK364 contributionsAn absoloutely breath-taking experience. The sheer opulence of the interior is staggering.
Unmissable if in Madrid.
The queues for those without pre-booked tickets are horrendous but we booked in advance and waited about ten minutes to enter on a very busy day.
There are quite nice notices in English giving just enough information to explain things so we would say that a full guided tour is not needed.Written 3 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BunburyTim61Bunbury, Australia2,203 contributionsThis is a foodie heaven. So many stalls selling different foods. We literally jumped from stall to eating as we go. The food is equally tasty as well. Tough to find seats but you can eat by the stalls. If in the area, you should seriously consider 😋😋Written 7 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- TubaKoseogluOkcuIstanbul, Türkiye6,920 contributionsCentrally located, this is the second "must visit" museum in Madrid after Prado. It focuses on modern and contemporary art and hosts the famous "Guernica" of Picasso. You should at least spare a half day to see it. We were there in May and we bought our tickets from the museum desk and we did not encounter any waiting time. Courtyard gardens of the museum are very nice especially in warm and hot days, it offers a fresh break.Written 9 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TrdConstanta, Romania8 contributionsThe Temple is beautiful and so is the scenery around. Best moment to visit is right before sunset, really amazing experience. It is free to visit BUT you need a ticket that nobody explains you how to get. When you get there you find a notice that you need reservation. You scan it and you find a ticket in 4-5 days...maybe...The guards are really strange and moody, they kept whistling at every kid that even touched the bord of the fountain while they allowed others (long after visiting hours) to go touch the gates, take photos on the stones. On their whim.Written 23 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
