Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful Cathedral in Murcia. We visited the Cathedral and the museum. Definitely the top attraction in Murcia. Architecture is amazing with interesting history.

Authentic ruins of ancient Roman theatre - standing on its stage really makes an impression you won't forget. Quite expensive but worth it.

We visited this lovely building while on a day trip from Alicante. The English language brochure was really lovely and the building itself was beautiful especially the Moorish elements at the front near the entrance. Definitely worth a visit. We were just sad that it didn’t have a restaurant as it would have been a lovely place to dine.

I had no idea what the drive would be, I didn’t read any reviews saw google pictures and went on a whim. Yes, it’s 20-30 min incline up the mountain and the road is bendy and narrow but just came to say that I don’t even drive in the mountains and have no experience in driving in the mountains I drove and found the drive okay. I managed without stress. You just have to go slow and be careful on bends but if I have managed well having no experience of driving in the mountains then it’s not that crazy difficult drive like lots of comments say. What helped is that I went off season and midweek in the afternoon and through the whole drive I passed only 3 or 4 cars at max. So if you are scared on going because of drive pick the least busy time/ season to have empty roads. that’s my main tip. As for the site itself, a bit scary at places, atmospherical and unique. Worth mentionning a lot of trash, tissues(you know what I mean), a lot of corners and nooks used as toilets(shocking right), didn’t expect that. Nonetheless would go again for mountain and sea views.

Amazing remote beach in the Calblanque reservation. The sand is soft and golden and the sea is crystal clear. We went in August (sooo hot, bring lots of sunscreen, water and shade!!) And it did not feel busy at all.
    Love love loved it!

Nice walk. Uphill but not too strenuous. Free Carpark nearby with waste bins. Great views from the top.

Not sure what to expect we visited was was at the time the No. 1 place to visit in San Pedro del Pinarta on a warm day in May.

On arrival the first thing to hit you was the "pong" but don't let that put you off.

Now for my first hint, take a container to carry "the mud". We purchased a bucket from a local shop for 2.5 euros.

The next thing we noticed was that the majority most people in the "water" were old, possibly due the claims that the mud will clear everything from acne, arthritis, hair loss and most things in between. Unfortunately I can substantiate any of the claims despite going "all in" as you will see from the pictures. Personally I think young kids will love it!

Now for the "event", you head down some stairs into murky water (which at the time we shared with flamingos). You reach down to the floor scrape mud from the floor and spread it on yourself. The bucket...easiest way is to fill bucket with mud a spread onshore otherwise it washes off when you reach down.

Once covered, let it bake/dry, take some pics then try and wash it off.

You, your clothes and anything you touch will smell for at least 24 hours (despite showers!)

Once most of the mud has been removed the sea opposite provides an official spot to have a final clean.

I showered but next morning still had an orange stained head!

Fun day doing something you don't do often and it's free.

Lorca castle is a great day out for walking and experience historic ruins. Take your phone so that you can scan the QR code which tells you all about the history of the castle and updates you at numbered markers.

You are allowed to take your pet dogs although must be kept on lead. The tariff system is good for all visitors, we experienced the full ticket of 10 euros, which allowed you to go anywhere and in the towers, the archeological dig, the gardens etc….but you can go in for free to walk around the grounds and gardens.

The cafe/grill was clean, serving tapas and a small menu, we went for the chicken and chips ideal for a lunch out. Seating is inside and out and plenty of it.

The staff were very friendly, courteous and informative, speaking some English.

Would not recommend for disabled people, quite step in places. Definitely recommend for a day out and take plenty of pictures.

In fairness, I don't go to Spain much. Well I've been to the Canaries a few times... but not the real Spain, mainland Spain. But the three or four times I have visited Cathedrals in Madrid, Barcelona and now Murcia, they always seem to have flippin scaffolding up on the outside! The rest of the square a delight and the walk around the perimeter was worth it to see beautiful baroque architecture. But sadly the steel structure... well engineered by the way... together with the masonry saw trying to compete with the average violinist meant 4 stars was the best I could offer in terms of experience.

What an interesting museum. There are exhibits from the first century of our era. It's fascinating to look at a thousand years of history.

A stunning place to visit. Especially lovely on a hot day as there are so many cool places to sit and rest. There is a souvenir shop. The building is amazing… built to the cliff face. There is a restaurant but depending on the time of year it is not always open. Entrance to the Santuario is free and there is plenty of parking nearby. Arrive early!

Striking exhibition of religious carved art. It starts out with a monumental Nativity tableau with hundreds of characters - most of whom have no awareness of what is taking place but are just going about their daily activities. You progress to a series of scenes commencing with the Annunciation and ending with the Flight into Egypt. Finally, you encounter life-sized presentations of the Passion and Death of Christ beginning with the Last Supper. These latter scenes are set in a beautiful church. It really is awesome. Admission is €5 (€4 for seniors). We spent about an hour.

Unbelievable, such beautiful embroideries. With video presentations of how all the costumes were worn during the Easter Processions. Very kind hostess who did her best to explain everything to us in the few words English she spoke.
