Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The night market is a tradition, and a must go to. The musicians is a well made set of statues and is an obvious photo opportunity among many.

This urban sculpture 'The return of surfing Icarus' is the work of the Spanish sculptor Esperanza d'Ors.

The sculpture was revealed in 1999. It is located in the waters of the inner dock of the port, a few meters from the Queen stairs (Escalera de la Reina).

The sculpture represents the Greek myth of Icarus through the figure of a naked man, with large shoulders and a small head. It is placed on a pedestal in such a way that Icarus seems to walk on the surface of the sea.

Lola looking out to see is an iconic image of Torrevieja. The views around are superb, close to the night market and the Hombre del Mar. The cat protection area is close by, if you like felines, have a look at some of the most viewed felines in Spain.

Well worth the diversion through the town centre to navigate the hill and see this monument, set in its imposing position over the town. One can just imagine the guards of old looking out towards the mountains and defending against invaders!

Walking down the wonderful tree lined Gran Via Del Marques De Turia I chanced upon this great statue in honour of Teodor Llorente .
Teodor Llorente ( 1836-1911 ) was the most important writer and poet during the historic period known as " Valencian Renaixenca " ,it's a great looking statue framed by Australian ficus trees , the monument looks amazing ,the great man is depicted in middle age surrounded by allegorical figures ,all the statues are well detailed ,it's just a fantastic statue and monument to check out if you're walking down Gran Via Del Marques Del Turia .

Strolling along the grand promenade beside the beach we were struck by this terrific sculpture and fountain.

Symbolising a Catalan boat it is beautifully created with outlines of the boat in metal and water cascading from top to bottom.

Sweeping masts complete the nautical theme.

As an admirer of Miro, it was great to visit the Plaza de Miro, after walking the comical Calle de Sella with it's artistic figures. The bust of the great artist is the monument of note in this Plaza. It is planted in the midst of trees, literally. The plaza features not many trees, but very big ones. They must be quite old.
