- Tara W1 contributionSmooth trip easy meet up and transfer and Roberta was really friendly and helpful. Max the guide around Pompeii was knowledgable and quite a laugh. The climb up Mount Vesuvius is a challenge and not for the faint hearted but worth the trek. It was cloudy for us so we didn’t see the crater or views which was a shame.

We were able to get to all our activities pretty easily and fast due to his activeness. Breathtaking views of the Mediterranean, the blue Grotto is incredible and the quaint town Anacapri is a must see. Our tour guide Michele was fun, entertaining and highly informative. - Lindsay P5 contributionsTwo absolutely astonishing sites which have to be seen. Guisi, our guide and Passo, the driver were very helpful and punctual, giving us useful information before we reached both places. Lunch was simple but generous and they catered for our vegetarian tastes without any problem. Service was friendly and helpful. Pompeii is an enormous site and the two hour guide can only give you a brief introduction to the town and Roman life while illustrating some incredible remains including the Baths, two Theatres and the home of a very wealthy family. It was mind-blowing to see wall paintings and other stucco decoration in these places. The enormous forum was a real wow factor. One suggestion for the Pompei guide is to use audio earplugs and microphone because it was hard to pick up everything she said, even standing close by. We enjoyed having lunch at one of the restaurants in Amalfi that our tour guide recommended. I purchased some small souvenirs from each area and took many beautiful photos. Thanks to our driver for a safe and thrilling ride around the coast! Tommaso was a fun and informative guide telling us some interesting history of each town. - Pam WCasper, United States6 contributionsWe did the Positano, Amalfi and Ravello trip with Francesco (Kekko ) and Pasquale and had a wonderful time. The bus and group size was small and very comfortable unlike the bus we had with Shore Excursions. Kekko spoke perfect English but even better he spoke slowly and provided just enough information without drumming on. It was wonderful and we had just enough time to get back on the ship!
