Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We chose the Memory Lane your and enjoyed it very much. I don’t think one should skip it when in Naples. Our guide, Martina, was friendly and did a great job in explaining to us about the history of the tunnels that even my youngest daughter aged 4 was captivated by it! Not only that I learnt from the tour, but I like it that it left an impression on my children. We still talk about Galleria Bourbonica until today 😊

Alan was our tour guide, extremely informative and charming! He was very patient and passionate throughout the entire 2 parts of a tour (2nd part was a complete surprise and unexpected)
Highly recommend this for people that want to see an alternative historic view of the underground city of Naples … covers Roman, Spanish, Norman , Greek and more modern times of the history of the city itself.
If you are lucky to get Alan you will be truly blessed!

This was our second performance at San Carlo, and as befits the Christmas season we didn't see an opera but watched The Nutcracker ballet.

Beautiful setting with music that has become part of the seasonal culture made for a grand holiday treat for us.

This city is truly remarkable, and its waterfront is stunning. It is not merely a place; it is a wonderful community that embraces you with its warmth. The finest cuisine in the world is undoubtedly found here, in the city where pizza was born. The potato pasta is exceptional, and the "genovese" pasta is exquisite. A week is far too short; I should have spent more time here.

Nice place to get souvenirs and there are plenty of places to get snacks and even some cafes where you can sit down. At peak times it is incredibly crowded though.

Monastery 1310; columns and benches covered with tiles depicting rural, maritime & mythological scenes; walls have frescoes from the Old Testament; and a Nativity from the 18th century. Recommend!

This amazing castle dates back to the 1200's. It sits atop Vomero Hill. You can walk to the top of the castle and have beautiful views of Naples, Mt Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples. Our hotel was quite a distance away, so we took a taxi to the entrance.

This was one of the best and informative tours my husband and I did during our visit to Naples. The guide Antonio was so knowledgeable and passionate about the history, the catacombs and the church. He is part of a cooperative raising funds and awareness to enhance what once was a dangerous and poor neighbourhood but is now thriving thanks to work with the community and increasing tourism. He was an outstanding guide and we can't praise him highly enough. Worth a visit. The nativity scene at the end is so beautiful and the meaning of each section is explained in detail. We enjoyed this tour even more than the larger complex at San Gennaro. One ticket let's you access both sets of catacombs. They are around 15 minutes walk apart. The ticket is valid for a year but you need to book a time slot with the English speaking guide. These are hourly abd each tour lasts an hour.

No coincidence that we booked our hotel near the Toledo Metro Station. I had heard about the art and wanted to see it and enjoyed a few times every day as we used the metro. The purple and white mosaic tile ceiling and walls along with lighting bring magic to the escalator ride to the surface! It is lovely to look at while it can bring a calming effect if your day or your travels have been hectic.

Definitely worth a visit, especially when combined with the attached treasury.

Beautiful artwork and architecture. I wasn't there for mass, but I would like to attend during a future visit to Naples.

We happened on this Church by accident or devine intervention! But we are sure glad we walked in. The Outside of the church is quite unremarkable, but the inside will not disappoint. Please take a moment to visit.
