Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I highly recommend it! An essential visit for anyone who loves history and is curious to explore Naples more deeply. The team of guides is very friendly, and our guide provided us with incredibly interesting information. Don't miss out on this experience.

Such a beautiful place in a challenging city like Naples! Thanks to interesting guided tours can one dive in a complete other world. Tours with Emanuele are an invitation to a great adventure to discover the first centuries of the Christian church, how different it was in that time than nowadays. If you wanna know, why the word "divine" can easily be derived from "the wine", come and book a tour with Emanuele. No problem to get tickets, easily to go through. Wonderfully spent time, if you want to know Naples better fom its magnificent side.

It's an interesting tour of tunnels that date back about 2,400 years. It's definitely a unique site with a lot of history. Tours are in either Italian or English. Lots of walking, uneven stairs (building codes in Europe were a lot less stringent back then), and very tight passages. Skip it if you're claustrophobic, otherwise, it's a nice tour of something overlooked.

A must-see sight. Our guide Eddo was excellent and he explained everything very well. We have learned many things that we did not know about Napoli. My kids were thrilled!!!
Note: If you have moving disabilities this is not for you.

Fantastic event. Fun night of interactive music including well known neapolitan hits as well as neapolitan classics. A great time and an amazing performance presented by a group of truly talented musicians. You have to check this one out.

Fascinating and free!! Awesome and interesting experience! It IS hard to find! See photos for directions! Enter into the university, up the stairs to the right, down a long hall (students studying!) and enter!

This is so much more than just an ordinary walking tour—it gives in-depth insights not only in the cultural heritage but also in the development of the rione Sanità; the initiatives of the Paranza cooperative are impressive. Anna was a fantastic guide, very sympathetic and well-prepared, who shared knowledge and anecdotes alike, and guided us safely through the pouring rain (so we got a glimpse of the lave dei vergini as well), and I wish I could have stayed until the end of the tour. I will definitely join another tour by Paranza, maybe to revisit the Fontanelle cemetery once it is open again next time.

Mario was incredibly knowledgable about every part of the museum, and the history of medicine in Italy, as well as universally. He was so generous with his time and the information he knows. Everybody in the museum was very helpful and friendly. The museum itself is full of interesting information and objects. Definitely a great place to visit, even if you are not particularly interested in the medical field :)

Narrow streets on the side of the hill. Mix of homes, shops & cafes. Mopeds zip along and are forever sounding their horns to warn of their approach. Lots of graffiti but streets were clean.
The area will not be to everyone's tastes but is well lit and very pretty at night.

What an interesting site! We don't speak much Italian and happened to arrive on a day when the member of the team who speaks the best English wasn't around, but we still had a very interesting tour led by one of the family who excavated the site and turned it into an underground home for eight decades ago. Gives you an interesting feel for the neighborhood and its people and the resourcefulness of the Napoletani.

We walked upto this & what a great experience it was, through the old narrow streets with blue & white flags everywhere.
Felt very safe & we had a 7 year old with us,so no problem there at all.

The visit of the Bonelli Collection was a unique experience during my stay in Naples. When we entered the building we were warmly welcomed by Mr Bonelli whose passion and love for Naples and the collection was perceptible from the very beginning. Not only did we learn about the history and interesting events in Naples but we were given the chance to see the city with different eyes. We were the only two visitors at that time so Mr Bonelli gave us a private and detailed tour of the collection. The visit was free. I want to warmly thank Mr Bonelli for the beautiful journey he took us on during our visit.

We had an amazing experience in one of the most challenging and fun rooms we ever did. We are a couple with +50 rooms in multiple countries, and we were met with a very fun room - Engaging story, fun and challenging puzzles, and managed to end the room with just 3 minutes left. If you are looking to be challenged, a bit scared, and thoughtful puzzles, this rooms is incredible.

Our game master also happened to be the owner, and It was incredible how nice and passionate he was about the room and escape rooms in general. Thank you!

We had a really complicated set up... meeting 2 of our boys arriving by train from school in Austria, at Pompeii, then proceding with our gang of 8 on a tour of Pompeii (before boarding train to Messina:-0) ...potential for chaos!!! But Lucia was calm, cool and collected and made it smooth (and interesting!) It all worked great👍A few weeks later we had Lucia again for a tour of Herculaneum. A happy reunion and an excellent tour. She worked w our varied interests and attention spans, coordinated toilet stops and placated 2 stressed-out parents, all with a smile on her face! Today we went to Caserta and were so happy to discover we had Lucia again! It was like Old Home Week! The terrible traffic delayed our arrival by a half hour but she was unflappable and gracious. Thank you so much, Lucia, and very much recommended!
