What a fabulous pizza making class.
We were welcomed with a drink in this beautiful authentic restaurant and then by Sara. She is a most wonderful teacher who taught us to make authentic Roman Pizza providing all the essential tips to recreate this dish back home. She was very communicative and interactive and provided a fantastic experience. I feel the need to come back and learn a different dish. Sara is very talented at her job and I wonder if she provides online cooking sessions, as I would love sign up!
The class was easy to get to by bus from
Where we were initially at the Colloseum. After a few stops and a 4 minute walk we had arrived. We don’t drink alcohol or eat non-halal but soft drinks were provided at the start and during dinner. Many pizza topping options were provided and a few extras considering the meat toppings were not halal. Sara went out of her way to make sure we had an equal experience. A Bruchetta side dish was also offered during our eating of the pizza we created but we were so full , we couldn’t eat it! The restaurant we cooked at was called Osteria Pasquino- a beautiful place.
A VERY short distance away, we found the renowned and very popular alcohol-free Tiramasu- a must try for delicious Tiramasu
