Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- soinicLux.2,998 contributionsWe liked our walk along the tiber/lungotevere in the shadow of the old trees. Watch your step, because "sidewalks" are dangerous in some places.
Some good options for picture taking ... (bridges, castel San Angelo ...).Written 15 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Melanie M4 contributionsAn easy trip out of the city (we took the train from the Tiburtina station, but you can also take it from Ostiense). It was a short trip, about 45 minutes, then we hiked to the lake (which was a hot, dry and dusty walk) but opted for the shuttle service (2 euros each) when we left. The lake was gorgeous, clear and refreshing. The beach was relaxing (not crowded like the seaside beaches), and there was shade to enjoy our picnic lunch (there is an amazing grocery store near the train station in Anguillara). When we had had enough, the shuttle driver picked us up right at the beach and drove us to the train station (instead of the parking lot....best driver ever!). Highly recommend this as a day trip to anyone looking for a break from the city and the monuments etc and who just wants to relax in nature.Written 16 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Claire LHove, UK4 contributionsNot exactly sure what this place is or was but it’s kind of creepy and depressing. The positive reviews are optimistic and possibly deluded 😆Written 12 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
