Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The tour was fantastic, Lisa was incredibly knowledgeable on the city and region’s history as well as all the food we tried. She was incredibly friendly, and on top of the amazing food, the three hours flew by. The experience was certainly one of the highlights of our trip to the area and we would recommend this tour to anyone.

I can't say enough about this tour. It was fabulous! We had Valentina as a tour guide and she was phenomenal: a native of Parma, but with a perfect grasp of English so that complex subjects were made perfectly clear. The two places we visited on the half-day tour (cheese and prosciutto) were fascinating, and I came away knowing so much more about the products and "DOP" designations. This will help my cooking and hosting! I loved the tastings at each place too - very comprehensive. I also appreciated the company's attention to keeping us on our schedule. I'll recommend this tour to anyone I know who's going to this part of Italy.

And just FYI for other travelers: I was staying in Bologna and took the train to Parma for the day to take this tour - it's easy.

Filippo picked us up and even waited extra time for us due to our train being late. Adjusted our tour route to compensate for the train delay and made sure we got to do everything.
There was also a huge rainstorm towards the end of the trip but his good driving kept us safe. Then he even helped us get our train tickets back.
All the places we visited were wonderful with very friendly people and the products they produce are absolutely the best.

Italy boasts artisan products that are known around the world; among them are Parmigiano cheese, Parma ham and Balsamic vinegar. Parmigiano cheese is aged and matured until it is hard and tasty. Parma ham is made into a traditional aged product that adds to Italian cuisine. Balsamic vinegar is aged with herbs and spices to make vinegar that is used in cuisine and adds a special flavor. These three artisan products are unique to Italy and wonderful to sample.

An enthralling peak at what goes into making the best-tasting cheese in the world! A compact tour only a short ride out of downtown Parma and an education that started with the cows having their breakfast right through to the aging process and an ample tasting of authentic Parmesan Reggiano cheese. Our tour guide was both entertaining and informative and his familiarity with the subject matter made him a wealth of information to answer questions and make suggestions. Unlike some tours which are long on talk and short on substance, this was two hours well spent and worth every Euro!

Just a fantastic way to spend half a day in Parma. Great to learn more about the iconic products of this area. Davide is a wonderful guide. Friendly. Professional. We are both mid-60s and not regular bike-riders but found the e-bikes a very easy way to undertake the 25km round journey.
And price-wise when compared with other similar tours in the area, we thought it to be good value for money.
    Highly recommend.

Our tour was very good-professionally organised-drivers punctual - with an exceptional guide speaking English. We learned so much about the making of Parmagiano Reggiano cheese and Palma ham. Generous samples of each product to try along with wines. All in all a 10 out of 10 tour for us.

It was a fantastic experience. Angelo took us to small privately owned businesses so we could have a unhindered tour of the facilities. Angelo is very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. The lunch at a private winery was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Roberta is an excellent tour guide, the best! The tour started with her and her hired driver meeting us at the hotel. The travel to the dairy was in time for us to see the cheese making process and gain an understanding of each step. Then, by car, we were off the meat factory. We gained an understanding of the curing and inspection process. Roberta, speaks both Italiano and English beautifully. She is very gifted with an ability to transfer knowledge. We wrapped up with a lunch at a beautiful agriturismo. It was a delicious lunch in a beautiful location.
The best tour ever delivered us back to our hotel filled with memories to last a life time.
