Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I love markers, real markets where locals shop, where one buys fruit and vegetables in season and get the vibe of the place. Queuing often leads to chats with locals even if only by sign language where common language isn’t available. The Rialto market is a particular favourite with wonderful fish and seafood and vegetable stalls selling an immense range of fruit and vegetables. Vendors were without exception friendly and welcoming and helpful in selecting produce.

It was a wonderful experience! I appreciated that the owners took the time to speak with me and explain the heritage of the cameo craft. I learned about the unique style that is specific to this store/family. It was very enjoyable to pick out my unique pendant and get to know that it was handmade, rather than a fake sold at a higher price. The store has many options of jewelry at varying price points. The important thing to remember is that this is the place for authentic! You are paying to get a one of a kind item, rather than a mass produced one. Loved it!! Grateful to the owner and his wife for a great experience.

Heard about Monicas Studio online and was intrigued by all her art she had to offer. I had really wanted to visit the Studio while we were in Venice in October 2023 but were unable to due to time. When I returned home I decided to order 3 prints from Monica. Keep in mind when ordering the pictures they are listed in cm sizes not inches. Monica was fast to respond to all of my emails. Surprisingly, it didn't take very long to receive them from Venice. I framed them right away and they look amazing! The details and colors are great! I love them! Thanks Monica for the great prints , they will be a long lasting reminder of my trip to Venice. I wish I could of met you and visited your studio.I highly recommend visiting or ordering from Monica at Itaca Art Studio in Venice Italy.Sincerely, Janelle Peterson

A remarkable series of paintings by Carpaccio and Dalmatian painters. Just as importantly, the Scuola represents a glimpse into the history and importance of Venetian fraternities and associations. Friendly and knowledgeable custodian. The place is listed on the Chorus ticket but charges an extra few euros, which was a surprise; similar experiences in a few other churches (eg, deli Frari), clearly Chorus does not have it all together. A must visit for art lovers.

Murano glass making looks to be a rough job. I commend the men who spend hours a day making this beautiful artwork of glass. I can only imagine the pain and frustration of becoming a master glass maker. The glass work making is a beautiful sight to see in person.

Carlo Scarpa… although I saw this exhibition some years back , on St Georgia Island, it remains for me one of the most beautiful and memorable exhibitions I have ever been fortunate enough to view.
The curator was indeed an artist .. such an eye for placement and balance… and the love of Scarpa’s glass obvious … it was nothing short of a gift.

This is a gorgeous little gallery, not far from Santo Stefano square.
You can easily spend an hour in the gallery admiring the quirky exhibits.

Worth a browse if you're in Venice when this antiques market is held. The dealers know their wares, and the market's smaller size means you find yourself taking the time to look through each stall: all the better to unearth that gem!
