Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just came back from a great evening of standards. Whether you're new to jazz or an old hand, you'll appreciate this show. From the outside, the venue looks like a junk shop - a good sign! The semi-cleared hoarder's basement vibe is a classic for jazz clubs. The music was excellent. If we were regulars to Venice, we'd be regulars here. Glad we made it on our, likely, only trip to the city.

The Venice Panto has returned with well-known panto names plus some new talents. It is in English but with some Italian songs by the children and a Venetian scene.

Jack is in love with Jill, her father the Squire does not approve, Dotty Trott (Jack's mum) is behind with the rent, Nabitt the baliff demands cash, the cow Violet is sold to wicked Basil Bloodchill, who takes her to the terrible Norman Ogre who lives above the earth, his wife Mavis is not terrible, the fairy saves the day with magic beans and it is all reported on by Hunter the journalist at the News at Seven. After all this they all live happily ever after. It is all written and directed by the author Laurie Graham.

On only 17/1/14 at 19.30 or 18/1/14 at 15.30. Tickets may be sold out, but try 515.0212.
All proceeds to La Gabbianella, a charity for kids of female prisoners at the lady's prison in Venice.

Immersive and emotional opera in a magnificent location. Highly recommended for both opera lovers and first-timers.

This unique ensemble provides a concert experience not to be missed. Their mission is to bring back to life music that has not been heard in hundreds of years. The exemplary musicians perform on copies of original instruments, which allows the listener to hear the music as it would have sounded so long ago. I have been to numerous concerts of theirs and the program is always interesting and includes composers I had not heard of, as well as the favorites - Vivaldi, Handel…
You will hear beautiful singing and wonderful instrumental pieces. They perform both spring and fall, so I encourage to attend a concert of theirs, you will be very glad you did.

We attended a marvellous Vivaldi "Four Seasons" concert in a beautiful musical hall in Venice, just next to the Rialto Bridge. An experience I would recommend to anyone who appreciates a professional, excellently performed classical concert. The artists were in full period costume and I suggest you book in advance! My husband and I look forward to going again when we are next in Venice.
