Su Zurfuru Mine Fluminimaggiore
#1 of 1,028 Sights & Landmarks in Sardinia
Our family (parents and 2 children of 6 and 8) enjoyed the visit to this mine-site a lot.
The site was already known by the Romans, but the visit focuses on the more recent past.

This a breathtaking view and a great opportunity to take it in on a walk.

Pozzo Santa Cristina Paulilatino Oristano
#3 of 1,028 Sights & Landmarks in Sardinia
As a historian of religions, I have been to many sacred sites all over the world, but I have rarely been so moved as by my visit to the sacred well at Santa Cristina.
The site, which is near an excellent nuraghe inLosa, also hosts a fine, small nuraghe itself and a monastery hundreds of years old.
Nuraghe Losa Abbasanta
#4 of 1,028 Sights & Landmarks in Sardinia
It is a very well preserved nuragic site, where you can really imagine how these misterious building looked like when they were built.
Interesting small museum on site.

Area Archeologica di Nora Pula
#10 of 1,028 Sights & Landmarks in Sardinia
Andrea was our guide (half of tour in English half in Italian); he had excellent English skills, good sense of humour and provided us with insider knowledge...we learnt a lot! Beautiful views from tower included,...
You get a bit of a whirlwind tour around the archaeological site of Nora, and the groups tend to be large, but the guy who took us around was so informative and interesting and the site itself is really good.

Well worth taking the tour especially if you don’t have the time to read all the boards and books on the site, such as when visiting with young children who will get bored with boards pretty quickly.
