Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

While on vacation, I had to arrange a video call and had already checked out from my hotel. The staff at Hi! Hybla helped me out by offering me a room in the tourist information along with wifi and a power adapter for my laptop on short notice. As far as I understand you can use their room for meetings, too. Didn't expect this! Also, the staff was super nice and special thanks to Virginia who provided everything I needed on that day. Thanks! It was a really nice experience.

We want to thank Lisa and Melissa for providing a wealth of information and advice on tourism in the area. The SOS Tourist Office is a very valuable resource in the community, providing excellent service to the travelling public and offering lovely souvenir items for sale. Lisa and Melissa gave us a wide variety of choices and ideas for activities during our stay, and the personal touch made all the difference. Thank you so much!

Sonia and Alessia were delightful. They told us all there is to do in Trapani and nearby. All the information are up to date. They're lovely and very keen on helping. Both very knowledgeable and very proud to be Sicilian.

Our trip of Noto Antica and the New Noto was very successful. Booking by email was made very easy, the guide was exactly where expected. Noto Antica is best seen as Info Point does... with electronic glasses for virtualization. Our guide was kind to take a photo of me and my wife and then emailed it to us -- best selfie ever. New Noto was really interesting as well, a wonderful town and well explained by the guide.

There were only a couple of staff when we visited and there seemed to be a lot of demand for their services. Useful place to pick up a map.

We prearranged for an English speaking guide through their Facebook site. That morning the guide had an issue and could not come at the last minute. So Sebastian took us himself on a walk from Ragusa Superiore down to Ibla, but through the cave area which was different, much cooler in temperature and very interesting. It included a visit to the old flour mill which still processes using ancient methods, Il Mulino di Timpa. Then he made arrangements for another guide to meet us late in the afternoon to explain all the main sites in Ragusa Ibla. I highly recommend using their services.

Well, I know it was lunchtime and right at the end of the season (mid September) but it was closed when we visited Savoca. I mention this since one of my very few complaints about Italy is that things are frequently closed with an apparent disinterest in the needs and time tables of tourists. Shame.

If you want a traditional bit of Italy, just sit in the square during the evening, sip a Sicilian beer (or Aperol) and watch the world go by! I want to be back there!

We walked in off the street and got great information about car rentals, traveling to nearby towns and tours of Mount Etna. This is a great service.
