There are goats, chickens, pigs... lots of cheese houses, a church and every type of Swiss house imaginable... parks for the kids to play and even an antique carousel.
Excellent museum very interesting, kids friendly, you need an entire day to visit it, take good shoes because you have to walk a lot.

We enjoyed a late lunch here before beginning the Children’s Adventure Trail (Amazing!) and our children loved, loved, loved this playground!
We had a fun trip up the funicular and my husband and I enjoyed relaxing in the sun admiring the view while the kids played on the playground before catching the funicular back to Murren again.

Our family of four hired bicycles (just normal peddle bikes) and took a leisurely ride along the valley past many gorgeous waterfalls until we came to this particular one.

The 1.5m walk was easy on its sturdy walking path and goes through multiple caves, easily doable for my kids, aged 5 & 7. It's initial steps down the gorge itself being the most difficult part.
Aareschlucht was a great experience for the whole family - even our little guy loved it because he could easily walk the path himself.
