Starting with the house Red wine and an appetizer of stuffed mushrooms, what a deliciously tasteful pairing.
Then on to the truffle pasta and the wife had delicious red snapper, finishing with the delicious tiramisu. My friends and I really loved the unique wines, cheese pairings and best of all the stories that brought the history and uniqueness of beneluxe wines to life.the way AJ and Mallory interweave their narratives with the maps, pictures and details of the origin of each bottle was so captivating that the time flew by.
Pair that with the cozy room, the small groups so that within a short while we are all laughing, drinking, and enjoying the wonderful cheeses and bread together. This will be a new must stop for friends and family who come to visit. And definitely a great place to pick up unique, wonderful wines, cremants and even chocolates. I was there with 5 friends, we had the best time talking among ourselves, and yes we had some great wines to taste. The host, Mr Didier took us on a journey of wine making ( which they do themselves) is was super. Personally the sparkling wine which is just coming out was my favorite. We started with some shared starters-tapas and had braised veal sheek which had a lot of flavors accompanied by delicious vegetables
I do understand why this restaurant is a favorite by many

He was very engaging and we learned a lot about Dutch wine and cheese. We are not experienced wine tasters, and it made it easy for us as beginners.
