Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Jacq wineshop is not just a wineshop. What makes it unique is the wonderful display of the wines and the friendly atmosphere. You are welcomed by Wieger and Dubravko who are truely good hosts. Their knowledge on wines is impressive. If you are not sure which wine to choose just ask them. Also If a particulair wine you liked so much and they dont have it in their shop, they will try to get it for you. No garanties of course. This makes Jacq wineshop unique in my view. Every two weeks they organise a winetasting with new wines for you as a customer to taste. You talk amongst eachother about the wines which are good and so on. You get to know other people from your neighborhood. Who knows next time i might see you there. Do visit Jacq wineshop. You proberbly like it as much as i do.

This is an excellent little shop if you are in the Dam district and want some decent wine. The owner is charming, and does not have a website or an online presence at all, so be mindful that you will not find this listing in most travel sites.

Fantastic experience in a raw building with classic white covered tables
I was there with 5 friends, we had the best time talking among ourselves, and yes we had some great wines to taste. The host, Mr Didier took us on a journey of wine making ( which they do themselves) is was super. Personally the sparkling wine which is just coming out was my favorite. We started with some shared starters-tapas and had braised veal sheek which had a lot of flavors accompanied by delicious vegetables
I do understand why this restaurant is a favorite by many
    Thanks for the hospitality
