Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- OT2019 contributionsFinally we found a kids friendly area in Amsterdam. Great place for Kids to play, cook, eat and meet lots of other kids.
Outdoor area is small but the Vondelpark is right next door.Thank you for the great time!!Written 8 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We had a couple of delicious open sandwiches (delicious Dutch bread as always) and a couple of mango juices on a hot day and it hit the spot for us. Friendly staff too.Written 21 September 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- zdaatiVienna, Austria4,627 contributionsA barique gate with a history, stone archway is the entrance to the old agnieten chapel, which was moved here at the time of the foundation of the amsterdam lllustrious school. Nice sanstone with bricks and lion heads reliefs and mans head saying something. - NaomiflowersLondon, UK5 contributionsI was visiting Amsterdam with my partner and we really wanted to find something a bit different, a bit off the beaten track, and we are so glad we did. We saw a show in a crazy round theatre in a place where you would never expect to find one. For the ticket price we got three shows, but the middle one had us in tears. It was a show called The Play and was just a ludicrous farce. I have to give a particular shout out to Steven Morgan, the scrum master dressed all in white. My partner works as a scrum master so this ridiculous character was just extra funny to us.
I don't think this is an obvious thing to do when visiting Amsterdam, but I recommend it a lot.Written 22 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
