I think it's important to note that we only saw one building on our visit so it's possible we missed part of what's offered and that may have impacted our opinion regarding the value for the price. We did come towards the end of their hours, but this was one museum our 5 year old expressed interest in visiting, so we had to come. What we saw were 3 installations on 3 different floors. There were signs giving basic details on the individual pieces and more detail about the overall collections, which gave important insights into the significance of the works. Unfortunately, with an active kiddo, we didn't have a lot of time to read them all, so I'm sure we missed a lot. Still, the photos were very different from each other floor to floor and I felt it was a good experience for our daughter. She was a bit rambunctious in parts and it seemed like people generally were tolerant, but it's not really a museum for younger children as it's very quiet, the stairs were on the steeper side, the art was hung at an adult level, and the art was more mature (not in a sense of sexual, but the concepts were more intellectual). That said, my daughter enjoyed it and we had quiet discussions about which pieces were her favorite in each collection and why. While she didn't understand the concepts, she enjoyed other elements (like the colors or patterns) and I think that's of value in the process of learning more about appreciating art and discovering one's own tastes. Recommend for adults and teens who appreciate photography and families where there's interest from the children.
