Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Pre-booked our tickets almost a month ahead. Wonderful relaxing experience browsing the art pieces and reading his life story. Spacious and comfortable design over 3 floors. Try to book a morning visit slot to have a choice of locker spaces to keep your belongings. They offer 3 types of lockers at no charge - small, medium, and large with the latter suitable for winter coats and two umbrellas.

The **Rijksmuseum** in Amsterdam is one of the Netherlands' most prestigious museums, dedicated to art, history, and culture. It houses masterpieces from the Dutch Golden Age, including Rembrandt’s *The Night Watch* and Vermeer’s *The Milkmaid*. The museum’s collection spans over 8,000 objects, featuring paintings, sculptures, and historical artifacts, displayed in an elegant 19th-century building. Its beautifully landscaped garden and the nearby iconic "I Amsterdam" sign add to the appeal, making it a must-visit for art enthusiasts and travelers.

    Very well-organized, clean, and engaging.
The staff was very polite, also.
Do not lose the opportunity to imagine Rembrandt's life in his working and living space. Highly recommended!
(Just a suggestion to the Museum: providing the possibility to choose the playback speed on the guided tour would be the golden touch.)

I have to admit I was a bit dubious about this given the advertising and the schtick on the website. I was pleasantly surprised though because there is a lot packed into a small space, and there was some surprises and some great art. Robbie Williams - who'd have thunk it - was worth seeing; there was a lot of great art that came from street art and graffiti (not just Banksy); and some great Japanese artists too. The only issue was that the art was packed, and even though we were there in the morning, it was also packed, so that sometimes you had to wait about to get a chance to experience things properly. But overall I was very happy to see a lot of this work.

Me and my friend really enjoyed this museum, definitely worth the 10 Euros to get in. Lost of interesting and funny things, some areas were under construction which was a little disappointing, definitely worth a visit

We very much enjoyed our time at the Rembrandt’s Amsterdam experience. It is not a museum, it is more like an experience that you can immerse yourself in and enjoy the dramatic performance of Rembrandt and his story. At the end there was an option to create some fun AI Rembrandt style artwork, which we look back on with fondness. It was a great 1 hour fun which we were able to slot in whilst we were waiting for a restaurant booking. Thank you for the great experience.

Every now and then i drop by this museum. I loved the Chagalls hanging here. It is almost never as crowded as the two nearby world-famous museums so i quite enjoy the space and especially the quietness here. The museum shop is quite lovely too✌✌✌

Entry to this museum is included with an IAmsterdam card (which I highly recommend). It's a very unique museum experience, immersive, and highly informative and engaging. This is great to do when you need to get off your feet a little bit because there are several opportunities to sit down. There's also a toilet in the basement. I think the experience was an hour or less; it was a great activity to do between bigger museums/activities (and with free entry and a free restroom!). We did this on a Friday afternoon and there were only 3 of us at the museum.

We loved our visit to STRAAT museum. The location is great and there were so many fantastic works of art to see, we were totally delighted. There's also a very nice café with great views to have a drink.

We visited Amsterdam over the Easter weekend and I had booked this as it looked to be a great experience, don’t get me wrong it was, I was just disappointed that they send so many people off as there are photo opportunities we missed because people just hang around in the room or people behind you come through. We visited other attractions similar to this and didn’t have this at all.

However the rooms were really cool and we have got some good photos when we could. We ate in the cafe afterwards which the food was really nice. I would visit again maybe on a quieter time if there is a such a time.

No better way to spend a cold , snowy November afternoon than to visit this house. A stunning house on the outside, inside it is amazing. The audio guide is very good , explaining the significance of each room. I gained a great insight into how wealthy people lived in the 19th century, a great place to visit.

Nice museum, nice space. Really enjoyed the primary exhibition, a poignant retrospective of a single photographer's chronicle of the repressive and grossly inequitable travesty of apartheid in the 1960s. Appreciate that a Dutch museum would wrestle with its history in this way.
