Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

24/7 at least five crossings every hour, no charges. Pedestrians, bicycles, motorbikes are all admitted. Big improvement that motorized vehicles have to turn off their engines. Moreover, inside you are not exposed to wind, rain or snow.

It is one of the few public services for which you do not have to pay.
You have already paid the exorbitant taxes before.

This ferry ride was laid back, delightfully stressless, on time and thoroughly recommended. The allotted to explore the Muiderslot Castle was spot on. Leaving enough time to sit relax enjoy a drink and cake. A bonus was the garden, a great place to find serenity.

Taking the free ferry behind Centraal Station to A'Dam Lookout was a breeze! Instead of going into the station and tapping your card, just take the tunnel outside which brings you straight to the free ferry. No ticket needed—just hop on, and in 5-10 minutes you're on the other side.

The ferries were constantly running, so we had no issues getting back to Centraal. It's a convenient and stress-free way to reach A'Dam Lookout and the swing, offering great views along the way. Highly recommend for anyone looking to visit!
