Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Bodhi G3 contributionsFun for golfers and non golfers alike!
Celebrated my birthday here. The games are intuitive and fun. The atmosphere and ambiance was laid back and fun! Good music, nice and attentive staff.
The clubs were sufficient. No driver which is a shame, though as this is aimed at a more novice audience I understand it might be too difficult a club to include.
We were with 11 people in a “private box.”
I can highly recommend. We’ll be back!Written 7 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is visually quite well protected and at times it does feel like you are in the countryside - but the busy and noisy highway cutting right through the C course, the ominous power lines and also heavy inbound airplane traffic into nearby Schiphol airport remind you very quickly that you are in the heart of one of the most densely-populated countries in Europe. Staff is friendly, the food in the restaurant of average quality. An ambivalent experience, hence. If you are seeking nature and quiet, look elsewhere !Written 28 May 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - HavakiThe Hague, The Netherlands624 contributionsRecently I have started to get my golf license, GVB as it is called in Dutch. De Hoge Dijk is one of the courses where you can get your course permission - baanpermissie. I did the 9 holes course today on the Abcoudebaan. Nice course, 4 par 4's and 5 par 4's, with here and there a bunker and a lot of water. Nicely set out. I find it a bit more expensive then other courses but otherwise fineWritten 11 November 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - James MPoquoson, VA3 contributions5/5. As a visitor from the US, I had trouble finding a course in The Netherlands because I don’t have a GSN (golf service number). Amsterdam Golf Club and the CaddieMasters were very accommodating though. Arrive early and it will seem like you have the course to yourself. It gets busy after 11 though. Everything was in great shape…tee boxes, fairways, greens, bunkers … the rough was thick and challenging too.Written 9 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - HCAmsterdam, The Netherlands160 contributionsFirst of all, it's cheap. And for a first time golf player, it'll a nice start. But if you're a more seasoned player then don't bother.
The course is located through several soccer fields.Written 17 July 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. When we arrived (after 10 hours flight) we waited at the airport, until the last passengers left, but no transport… We had to pay for taxi to the hotel.
I therefore asked for refund of the transport costs we paid and the answer was: “according to article 8.2.2. of the ANVR, if you have not received all of your travel documents by the time communicated by the organizer, you must notify the organizer or retailer without delay…” and refused refund (for services never supplied).
So, somehow, dispute D-reizen own omission and mistake (it never conveyed any details of the transfer or any voucher concerning a product I fully paid for), i am to be blamed for it…
Be aware of their “small fine prints”, that exclude all their responsibility- even when it is their own mistake!!!!
Super bad after sale service!!! Outrageous!!!Written 30 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
