This is where one can drink the famous sweet cherry liquer that is so popular, any time of the day or night. - nikki jVirginia132 contributionsGreat, intimate place to listen to a fado show! Cash only. I was able to make a reservation via facebook messenger. It's very small so reservations are best, otherwise you have to wait until spaces open up past 9pm.
There's no full menu just tapas, but they are filling! I got a ham & cheese sandwich -- it was grilled and SO delicious. I also got a Caipirinha. Everything is reasonably priced.
Now for the music -- the show was great! A few "surprises" along the way, but literally everyone at the bar could sing. They do sets and take 15 minute breaks in between, for themselves and also customers who come & go. I left around 10 so not sure how long they are open. I like sweeter things that aren’t too acidic which was right up my alley. The drinks may have disappointed slightly but the place was something you have never seen and most likely will never see again. Low seats, soft music and a very good place to sit and talk if you are a group of friends. There are strange things from roof to floor and everything you can imagine, and then some more. If you do not know the location you will most likely pass it. Looks very shabby from the outside. The music is about 500 years old, originated by lonely sailors, fairly sad and haunting. - Dustin C1 contributionMy wife and I visited Portugal recently. When we travel, we like to visit local swingers clubs and have done that all over the world. In Porto, Portugal, we could find almost no useful info, so we decided to add some. First, Golden Key, Templo and Glow are 3 clubs near one another that have the same owner. Golden Key is a very nice facility but I’ve never seen a swingers club where people prefer to stay all night on the dance floor. Almost no swinging happened and the manager said that is normal, that they are more of a dance club for younger people. He suggested we visit Glow so we did. Within 5 minutes of arriving we were having serious sex with another couple. The below ground area is all dark and FULL of swingers. It was incredible. Ginha in a chocolate cup is Eur 1.95 (with a free refill, so you are getting two little shots).
Lovely staff as well.
