Our early arrival at the Pena palace worked well and allowed us to have time to enjoy the next destinations. Lunch was again a lot of fun the food and service were excellent. A very good driver negotiating some challenging roads. - Aimee MDallas, TX18 contributionsSpent an incredible day with Miquel who immediately asked about our likes and then set up a fabulous day. Every suggestion he made was excellent and he went out of his way to ensure our happiness.
We saw Cascais, Cabo di Rocca and Sintra in a day at a leisurely pace. He lead the tour of Pena Palace pointing out fabulous details we would’ve missed. It gives you a nice taste of the variety of styles and cultures within Portugal itself. I would highly recommend if interested in architecture as it gives you a slice of many different styles and time periods. Likewise while it was definitely a drive there are some great and stunning views of the mountains, vineyards, smaller towns, etc. Our guide Gui was great, super informative and funny. I learned a lot about each site and felt I left with a good grasp of the history and character of each city. Our driver Alfonso was definitely a trooper. Would love to go back to the places we visited and venture further with more time. - Renee A1 contributionWe loved this tour! Lisa (our tour guide) was very informative and took us to all the spots we wanted to see. This tour is great because it is customizable and she also left us for a spot in the middle for a break to go grab lunch and go shopping which was very nice. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to go see Sintra. - sarah fnorth carolina4 contributions9 hours of pure delight! Fatima, Navare and Obidos were all extraordinary and our guide Francisco was absolutely incredible! His English was impeccable, he was so good natured, so extremely well-informed, so respectful and considerate of everyone on the tour - he took a personal interest in each of us - and so adept at planning fabulous experiences for us at each town. He also gave us a lovely amount of time to truly experience and enjoy each place we visited. In addition to the spectacular view of Sintra, Pena, Cabo da Roca and Cascais, the tour was well organized. and we got contact by the SPR Tours via WhatsApp for specifics related to pickup time and place. The tour driver/guide Xande (Alex) Gula was very professional and outstanding, making great efforts for us to visit places within limited time. He helped booking a very nice lunch of lical cuisine that everyone enjoyed. Great driver and a very informed guide. She took time to fully explain the history of every spot we visited. I could spend another entire day here.
