Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband and I enjoyed every minute of the Greek Food Walking Tour in Athens. Our guide Dorella provided great information and local color. She did a great job of describing the places (and food) where we stopped to eat, along with lots of insight as we walked around. We had already gotten to know the Plaka area pretty well, so it was exciting to learn about the surrounding neighborhoods and get more of a where the locals eat experience.

The tour guide, Penelope, was amazing. She gave good history of Athens, showed us around different parts of Athens. The food she recommended were amazing that we went back the next day to taste a few of her other recommendations and they were just as good! Definitely recommend

Such a wonderful experience sailing and swimming in the Saronic Gulf! Highly recommend if you love being out on the water. It gives you a lovely break from being in the city of Athens. Kostas and Denis were amazing hosts and the food was also delicious.

My wife and I did a group, Moonlight Bites tour in Athens with Ismene. Ismene was very friendly, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. We tried some of the best gyros, olive oil tasting, wine tasting, and ended the night with a very nice greek dinner at a local restaurant near Plaka. One thing that Ismene did, which stood out to me, is that she ordered her plate while considering others in the group so that they could try other her meal. This is overall an excellent experience! Highly recommended to learn bit about Athens and the local foods and places.

One of the top experiences we had on our honey moon. It was really great to learn about Greek cooking and culture and we had an amazing host and chef named Spyros. He was super enthusiastic, friendly, helpful, patient, and a great teacher. The whole cooking class then ate out meals together as a family afterwards. It was such a great experience and the cooking class from this company is something we highly, highly recommend! Thank you again to the restaurant and to Spyros for providing my wife and I with a truly memorable experience. We will definitely be making Moussaka and Tzatziki as much as we can when we get home!

My husband and I a wonderful cooking class yesterday with Dispina ( I'm sorry if that is spelt wrong). We first had a very interesting and informative tour of the market, followed by a fun and interactive class. Dispina was an amazing teacher and made sure to get everyone involved in the cooking. I would highly recommend this class to anyone interested in Greek food. I would definitely check it out again when back in Athens!

Really great tour! Our tour guide was Elena and she was wonderful, very fun to talk to and great putting everyone at ease with each other. She showed us a few random places in town we wouldn't have otherwise seen, in addition to the delicious food. Plenty of options for vegetarians, there was only one meal I had to change up (souvlaki just without the meat). It was a good amount of food to test out without stuffing yourself, but with the souvlaki as an actual meal. A very fun morning! Definitely recommend

The evening before our half day cruise, the company reached out to advise there was an issue beyond their control and they had to cancel our half day trip. They immediately offered to move us to the full day cruise which hit different islands, and additionally would honor the price we paid for the half day option. It was a gracious offer that we accepted and we had a great time.

The crew were all friendly and helpful, walking around through the day to check on guests and ensure everyone was doing well. Before each stop they would provide information about the island and were clear on when to return to the boat. The islands were beautiful and the lunch provided on board was absolutely delicious! It was seriously one of the best meals we had on the trip. They also provided coffee, juice and pastries in the morning as well as an assortment of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages the entire trip.

I am so glad we chose this tour while visiting Athens and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fun day trip to see the nearby islands.

The experience was positive from the start. Transportation from the hotel was on time in a comfortable vehicle. We purchased the VIP tickets which I would recommend. We went to the front of the line upon arrival at the boat and escorted to the our own booth in the lounge.

The staff was very attentive and was able to accommodate my wife's dietary restrictions with both meals served on board. Cocktails are not included but were excellently prepared and reasonably priced.

We did the walking tour on Hydra. The guide was very knowledgeable of the history of the island and pointed out the thing of interest. The tour is short, about an hour, a few minutes available to see the shops near the port, then back to the port.

Next stop was Poros, which was really short at about half an hour to 40 minutes available. This was enough time to walk to the end of the shopping area then back to the port. I would have been fine skipping Poros and adding time to the Hydra or Aegina ports.

Aegina was the last and longest stop where we took the Panoramic tour. The tour advertises 5 stops, but three of these were 2 minutes stops with no opportunity to get off the bus. You had to take pictures through the windows which weren't very clean for such photos. The is a stop at a monastery which was very nice. The second stop is when you get off the bus in the shopping area near the port. We were provided a sampling of the seafood, then escorted to a nearby pistachio store to buy to some very tasty pistachio ice cream, butter, etc.

This was so fun! Mini was a fantastic guide with lots of interesting tidbits along the way. She pointed out sites and the reason each type of food was selected - great quality. She was a fun and accommodating person to be around as well. I highly recommend this company and will seek her out for future tours.
