- Olga Porterfield35 contributionsThis a gorgeous "village" under the Acropolis which was build by the stonemasons and carpenters from the islands who had worked in restorations of the Acropolis temples. They created a mini island village in the middle of the bustling capital.

The narrow streets are full of small shops, vintage items, and cozy cafés. Our walk was wonderful, especially with the beautiful view of the Acropolis, though it’s good to stay alert in some busier spots where it can feel a bit crowded. - KPR1955Deeside, UK1,845 contributionsThis is what used to be an almost derelict industrial area but over the last few years has developed into a very pleasant area for an evening. Lots of coffee shops, bars, eateries and with a metro station on your doorstep.
