My wife and I just returned from the most amazing trip to Greece to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary! We worked directly with Nikos to plan the perfect 10-day itinerary and he exceeded our expectations!
We visited four regions, Athens, Peloponnese, Naxos, and Santorini, and each one was unique and memorable. Nikos did such an amazing job of understanding what we enjoy while traveling - a mix of history, nature, great food, and unique local experiences. He planned the perfect balance of activities and downtime and even sprinkled in some special surprises for our anniversary. One night, he arranged for a group of local musicians to play traditional instruments and shared the history of the music. It was so special! He also found us incredible local guides in each region who were true experts.
Everything about the trip was perfect and we can't wait to return to Greece! - Jill W1 contributionMy girlfriends and I used Blue Black Travel for a recent ten day trip to Greece. With just a little input from us, Katerina created an impeccable itinerary…we stayed in Paros, Santorini and Athens…which was enough to give us the perfect sampling of Greek life!
She found us extraordinary hotels to stay at, with all three very different from each other but delightful in their own ways. A six-room boutique hotel in Paros provided us the most exceptional service I have ever had from a hotel (The Aura Suites). Such a surprise on our first stop in Greece! I started day one with a nasty cold and the staff took such thoughtful care of me (the two-person cleaning crew brought me tea in bed of all things!). We became fast friends with this absolutely delightful team and huge fans of the hotel! Great selection, Katerina!
Our excursions were tailor-made for us. Katerina suggested a cooking class on Santorini and it was a delightful way to immerse us in the food and culture. We also had a super fun Catamaran cruise — again with an exceptional crew; a private Caldera hike; a tour of the Acropolis; a tour of Athens that included the changing of the guard and a drive to visit Poseidon’s temple. We also had her schedule in enough down time to make us feel relaxed and fresh for the whole trip.
Katerina arranged private transfers for us and each driver was early to pick us up and made sure we had a safe and comfortable drive to and from each location. The tour guides she hired were well-informed, pleasant and very helpful with lots of ideas and suggestions to make our trip even more special.
Katerina provided all tickets electronically with clear instructions on times, locations and other details included. She responded to our (very few) questions quickly and followed up with us most days to see if we needed any other help or additional restaurant suggestions. We felt in good hands for each part of our trip thanks to Katerina’s first-class care. Everything was so well organised and Xtreme Greece was always available to answer any questions we had. Super easy service, friendly and helpful. - FiskardoKayaks42 contributionsFrom start to finnish a great experience, quick easy booking through Stefania, who was only welcoming and helpful, to the practical lessons and training with Martin, I can only say it was a well worth it. Martin was a great instructor who was always, calm, informative and there to help us students learn and grow our boating confidence and knowledge, not critique and make a student feel unsure, which is counterintuitive to the whole concept of learning.
