This is an absolute must ! We loved it, such a unique experience, and the water wasn't as freezing as I was expecting after reading reviews. There's a section youll need to swim in and if I can do it anyone can, ita approx 10 meters long, the rest is paddling. I hate cold water. Don't let that put you off, just do it. It's an exhilarating experience that you will remember forever. Wear beach shoes and take a waterproof bag for your car keys/mobiles and you're sorted. There's a restaurant in the car park too if you need refreshments. You can buy your water shoes and waterproof bags at the car park too. There's also an info desk if you want to get more info for where to go or to enquire about the rafting or horse riding options too. Have fun, we loved it. 😍

The steep climb up through the streets of Parga was well worth the view.
When we reached the top we stopped at a cafe to refresh ourselves before we entered the castle site. You need to be very careful walking on the site as its very difficult to walk on the uneven rocks/stones. The view from the top is well worth the effort though. from one side you get a wonderful view of the town and the lovely view of Valtos beach from the other side.

The hotel was beautiful nit characterless. Waitresses and cleaners lovely and friendly but higher ranking staff aloof to the point of rudeness. Food was OK but ala carte lunch was very good
Bar prices are ridiculous! 2 SMALL glasses of wine amd a fanta orange €35 water €4 thank goodness for the lovely tavernas either side with proper priced. No thank you have you enjoyed your stay or sage journey home from reception staff
Having said all of this the location is idyllic and the sea was wonderful unfortunately we were disappointed with the pool

Beautiful beach round the headland from Parga town. We took a taxi (6 euros) and returned by water taxi. It wasn't too busy for September.
Very clean beach area with plenty eating places. You get a really nice view of Valtos beach from Parga castle on the hill.

Water was lovely and clear. Liked how the trees came down close to the beach. The same cafe provided light refreshments. The loud music pumping was I bit off putting and took away from the natural surroundings that were on offer.

We went to the Castle with the Parga road train. We did not have high expectations but it turned out to be a worth while alternative to lying on the beach. We had a better opportunity to see the area around our hotel close up. The guide had a wry sense of humour and gave us a good back ground of the the history of Parga.
The castle is in a poor state of repair wear footwear for rough terrain. The views from the ramparts are spectacular although the more distant can be affected by the clarity of the air. We were informed on a clear day we should see Corfu but due to the humidity on the day of our visit it was hidden. Watch out for the spiders lots of cobwebs hanging from pretty shrubs - first time I have seen a spider wrapping up a moth in its web.

Beautiful little beach without loads of umbrellas and beds, and no cafe or loos. There is a reasonable amount of free parking right by the beach and the road down to it is actually wider than to Lichnos. Small white pebbles and very clear for snorkelling. We loved this beach.

Lovely Church that you can easily reach with a short swim from the small beach of Parga, definitely worth the effort. The small Island is beautiful also for the surroundings and you can go on top of the small hill near the church for some lovely photos of the area.

Alessandro guided us through the menu and we chose an assortment of dishes to share : prawn souvlaki , fresh tuna, Greek salad and whole grilled calamari. It was all cooked to perfection , subtle flavours and so fresh.
A beautiful view of the bay and good wines - a fabulous memorable lunch . Congratulations to the chef !
    Highly recommended

You can walk or catch the mini train from the parga seafront
To this old watermill area and museum... if you walk its a lovely countryside and its on a good road and not on a farm track type of road once there you can take a look around the old buildings or take break in Mylos cafe in the wonderful surroundings.

Very nice little and cosy beach covered with pebbles. So some kind of bathing shoes is recommended. Nice for snorkling along the cliffs.

This is the second time we have visited the falls and love to just go have a drink and relax I’ve said to my partner it would make a great meditation place.
As you can imagine natural waterfalls don’t just occur at the end of your garden so you do need to walk down into the lower parts of the olive groves but the owners have done a amazing job at clearing the walk and pathways down been low in gradient i am a below the knee amputee and found it easy and relaxing to get down to the falls.
The owners have done and are continuing to preserve and re plant the area with ongoing works to the landscape.
Th e €5 you pay includes a drink while you sit and relax , read even catch up on emails in peace and you can stay as long as you please.
Just another little treat while away in Parga.

Hike from Lichnos to Parga with visit of this small chapel is certainly worth doing it just because of the view over Parga
