A beautiful beach, which is relaxing. The sea was fairly choppy and no one was in it, which I was told is usual for Mytros Beach. I managed to have a quick swim, but came straight back in due to the strong undercurrent and I am a strong swimmer, so please be weary of it.

There is a cafe, toilets and a lifeguard on duty at the beach.

You are no longer allowed to go into the cave at the fair end of the beach, due to falling rocks.

There are view points of the beach up at the top of the cliff, at both sides, which provide a fantastic view of the beach.

100% recommend, such a beautiful beach!

We rented a car and drove from Lassi to the caves - the drive was an easy drive of around 45 mins. We each paid our €8 entrance fee and made our way immediately to the waiting boat. The trip on the rowing boat was about 12 mins - a fairly impressive cave, with very clear water. Lots of photo opportunities - tips were expected.

Stunning sand and SHINGLE beach. The sea was warm and as clear as crystal you needn’t really need a snorkel because you could see to the bottom, even when the sea went a little deeper.
It was tricky getting in or out unless you had sea shoes because of the shingle. I would advise you get these before you leave and they are quite expensive in Skala.
Approx €10 for 2 beds; you can stay for as long as you like.
There are a few nice restaurants on the beachfront too.
I can’t wait to go back.

Went to the Costa part and loved this beach - just make sure you go when there are no cruise ships in. 2 beds and umbrella €7 or €12 for the comfy ones. We went for the comfy ones each time. Waiter service is great. They are very friendly and quick to serve but I wish they wouldn't run as they are not our slaves. Sandy beach and lovely slope into the sea. The food and drink are reasonable prices for a beach bar. You can eat up at the restaurant part or order on the beach. Nice clean toilets, showers and changing ares. Big beach and only felt crowded when the cruise ship lot came and took over the place...and I mean took over! Bit of a hill back up to the road but short so easily manageable if you are ok with walking. No wheelchair access and you would struggle if you have trouble walking.

A beautiful beach not far from Fiskardo. It was our favourite on the island. The downside is it’s pebbles so bring appropriate footwear, the upside is it’s not thronging with sun loungers like other beaches on the island

Fteri Beach is a beautiful place to relax, take a sunbath or just chill in water.
The best option to get there is to take water taxi:)
    Water is amazing 😍

Good bars, loads of places to eat. Go to Waikiki Bar at the end of the promenade, great atmosphere, banana trees growing in the bar, very cool, laid back and open all hours....like late. For those that post it's busy, everywhere is busy this year in Kefelonia its post Covid and there's lots of delayed holidays from 2 years ago! Stop moaning, relax, unwind and enjoy.

Interesting place to spend an hour. Quite a large cavern containing stalagmites and stalactites, about 80 steps below ground. It’s well lit, and one sees bats in the cavern also.

Fiskardo waterfront is as pretty as people say. Lots of shops but more on the expensive end. The romoan cemetry about 200m past the waterfront is worth a visit. We had a car and drove the 1.5km to foki beach. Compared to others weve seen this was rather disappointing. Stones rather than sand or pebbles and water more murky and green tinged than med blue. There are a number of short walks around the fiskardo area which is great for those who like to experience nature. The drive to fiskardo has very pretty and lush countryside. Definitely a must see.

Love Ammes beach and the low flying jets add to the experience . Nice beach very shallow and sandy. Good beach bar. Different price for beds at each end. Medium sized beach

Mount Ainos is set in southeastern part of Kefalonia, convenient to visit if driving Skala - Argostoli road or vv. There's a signpost to turn from the main road, and a pretty good road leads you up for around 20 min drive.
End of road is at the peak where're the huge antennas. From here you can proceed on foot to the summit which we didn't do in scorching July heat wave.
We were satisfied with the views from here - you can see Argostoli, complete southern coast and Zante island across.

Had the beach all to ourselves. Snorkelled with a huge turtle and watched an octopus dig itself a hole in the pebbles. What’s not to love?!
