Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There is something so powerful about this ancient site …
    The imaginations work overtime
I have no idea what goes through my head when I see this but to think they were far more advanced than ourselves now …
And all this thousands of years ago even before Christ
    Mindblowing

This ruined fortress, which is largely medieval, is set in a stunning location on top of a mountain. It is well worth a drive up the winding mountain road, just take care and go slowly.

The site itself is immense and you can walk for literally miles. You do need to be reasonably fit as it is all hills. There are panoramic views everywhere and 360 in a number of places. You can see both mountains and the sea.

Good walking shoes are needed to grip the rocks and protect your ankles. Not advised in the rain as the rocks can be slippy.

The museum is small and a little hard to maneuver through the crowds, but well worth visiting. It's just amazing the artifacts and the condition that they are in.

A wonderful experience for a family. Even our 2,5 year old children enjoyed it. I totally recommend it. Much better for older children.

This lake, which is fed with salt water from the sea, is a charming, picturesque and tranquil place out of season and particularly late in the day. The nearby Heraion is also very well worth a visit.

We stopped on our way from lefkada to athens. Michael welcomed us warmly. Very professional and pleasant at the same time. The wines are of a very high quality. We could not ask for a lovelier stop. Highly recommended.

Very beautiful Byzantine Church. You should walk around the yard and take pictures. It’s in a great area near a parking lot.

An amazing place near Corinth! We had a great time shopping! There is also an incredible activity park and a playground for children! I recommend it to everyone to visit Mare West!

Nice place to visit, there was a concert on the day we visited for the celebration of Apostle Paul in 2018. You can walk along the water and enjoy the view of the mountains and the boats in the harbor.

The people at Korinthos Taxi Transfers were great! they recommended I take the early train from Athens to Corinth to beat the crowds at Mycenae and I am glad I listened to them. By the time I left the place was crowded with groups. And I was able to spend the time I wanted and focus on what I wanted rather than listen to a tour guide shape what I saw. My driver, Alex, gave me some interesting background on the region.

We came after doing the scenic train at diacofta. There was no long lines so we had a nice time here. Even tough, it is the poorer water park i ever been at... so would not recomend coming specially.

Snails (--"chochlioi" or χοχλιοί from the ancient Greek word "cochlea") have been a staple in the Cretan diet for centuries. This company has preserved that tradition in innovative ways, while also taking it out from Greece to the rest of the world. It is in the essence of the slow "Feréikos" believes in, a place where the local and the traditional harmonically meet!
