    Review of: Waxholmsbolaget
    A great way to experience Stockholm
    If you have the time take a day and book a round trip ticket on the Waxholmsbolaget ferry to the island of Waxholm. During the 1 plus hour ferry ride you will stop a handful of times at various islands along way, giving you a better glimpse of what it’s like to live on the archipelago of Stockholm. The island of Vaxholm offers a quaint village with boutique shops and restaurants. Take your ‘Fika’ here and return for late evening dinner back in Stockholm. This is one of our favorite places to visit when we come to Stockholm.

    Excellent choise to travel from Viking Line terminal direct to Djurgården or north side of the bay. Just couple of hundreds meters from terminal

    Review of: Ekeröleden
    A little known shortcut with a fantastic view
    For those that know about it this ferry is a guarded secret. Not only does i cut travel time by an hour, it also offers a great seaview of western Stockholm and some of it's islands. The ferry takes you from Slagsta to Ekerö, a large island west of Stockholm on a ten minute crossing and and also brings you conveniently close the Drottningholm Palace

    Review of: SJ Rail
    Trains are good but very poor customer service
    First the positives. The trains were clean and in good condition and ran on time. The displays for the track number In the stations were very good. The app is very good. I use the chat line twice and the response was very good. Especially the first time I use the chat line, I felt he person went above and beyond and help me get set up on the app and resolve some issues.

    HoweverThe night before I was checking the routing and timing on the app and it showed that we had to take a bus for part of the route. this time I phoned the customer service and the person just repeated what was on the app. She said the trip was with a contractor, Gave me the name of the contractor company and said I would have to contact them. I found the phone number on the website for the contractor and talk to their customer service. They said the business about being on the bus did not apply to me and my ticket. I don’t know why the app said we had to go on the bus for part of the ticket when it wasn’t true. I think the customer service person should inform the customer service of the contractor themselves and get the proper information rather than making me run around.

    On the train itself the customer service was very poor. They were quick to check our tickets and our business class was supposed to get a snack and tea or coffee. No one ever came around after the ticket checking

    Then partway through the trip there was an announcement in Swedish and English that said they were dropping the last two cars off the train and everybody from those 2 cars Have to move forward. They mentioned the carriage numbers that would be remaining which included our carriage number even though we were the last car in the train. Everybody was confused and expecting somebody to come along and tell us. I went looking for an attendant and found 1 staff sitting a little compartment reading her smart phones And the fellow was just about going to join her. I asked what was happening as we were encouraged and 11 which announcement said was going to be continuing on. They said they change the carriage number and it was no longer carry delivered so we should just move forward. And that we could find a new business class somewhere in the train which of course was not true because there’s only one business class carriage per train.

    I can conclude that there is obviously a culture within the company have a lack of concern for customer welfare and communication and obviously comes from the top of the organization

    Review of: Arlanda Express
    Best way to travel from Arlanda. Perfect service
    The best way to travel to and from Stockholm's airport. No question.

    The access to the train service at the airport is clearly marked and easy. The trains themselves are spacious, comfortable and just plain elegant.

    There is no quicker way to cover the 40k distance between airport and the city.

    The staff, both on board and at the customer service desks (both at the airport and in the city) are very friendly, professional, knowledgable and helpful. My first conversation in Sweden was with the attendant at the Arlanda Express train and it was a great start.

    The terminus at the city is the most convenient possible, right in the city centre, with all major transportation modes at your disposal.

    Very panctual and organised !
    The trips from the airport to the city centre and vice versa are made very pleasant even though the duration of each trip is around 80 minutes. Will definitely use their service if I return to Stockholm!

    Review of: Stockholm Central Station
    Central station of Stockholm
    Would love for shops and cafees to open at 4:45am so you can get something to eat and drink ahead of your journey. Clean and tidy and organised, spacious station but if you are catching a 5am train there is no place to get a good hot drink or meal.

    Airport transfer
    Pavel gave us a warm welcome when we arrived in Stockholm. He was so friendly and professional. His punctuality was spot on and he helped us under stand the sites around Stockholm. I would definitely recommend Pavel. His service is fantastic!

    Review of: Green City Ferries
    Great way to get about
    With your travel pass - this trip across the water is included. We were lucky a beautiful sunny Sunday in March - we stood outside on the boat to enjoy the views ! It was lovely and well run and efficient - and it all went too quickly

    Stockholm RIB trip
    Joakim was very professional and made sure we had all the necessary protective gear. Not for the faint-hearted, but would definitely recommend this as a day trip from Stockholm.

    Review of: Taxi Stockholm
    Good experience
    Can recommend Taxi Stockholm based on recent personal experience both from and back to Arlanda Airport. Driver was on time, waiting with my name , helped with our suitcases and honoured the fixed price pre-agreed,Polite and on time .Other cities could learn from this ( Rome for instance where they should hand out masks to save time !)

    Review of: Hummingbird Aviation
    Great experience, Stockholm looks amazing from the air.
    My wife purchased a 20 minute helicopter tour for my birthday present. Our flight was booked for 0900hrs. We arrived at 0845hrs and could see the pilot pulling the helicopter out of the hanger and fuelling it up.
    The pilot then came to greet us at the security gate. He introduced himself as Michael and shook our hands.He was extremely friendly. He showed us around he aircraft and went through some safety instructions.
    He then made sure we were comfortable then took off. The flight was extremely smooth. The views were amazing, better than any flight I'd had before.
    Michael was pointing out all of the sights, he was very knowledgeable.
    We had the full 20 minutes in the air. Once we landed, Michael offered to take some photos of us standing next to the aircraft. Once finished he then walked us to the security gate and shook our hands again and wished us well. He was such a gentleman.
