Perfect tour for Aurora hunting. Gary was so persistent to make sure we caught the Aurora - it was amazing. The complementary professional photos were a bonus
From pick up to drop off, everything was great. Our guide Han took very good care of us. Himself and their team put great effort for us to see auroras and we had unforgettable views. Thanks a lot.
The staff at Beyond Artic were great, very friendly and helpful. The reindeer farm was about 45 mins away by van. I chose this experience because I wanted to experience a longer sleigh ride, meeting and feeding the reindeer and the photos. I haven't seen the photos yet but am hoping their are some great ones. The journey there and back took up a lot of the half day experience and I didn't feel we had as long actually meeting the reindeer that I hoped we would have. Really liked the fact we were out in the forest and not just on a small circuit. The hot chocolate and crepes were delicious and a really lovely touch. Unfortunately I couldn't understand much that the farmer was saying due to her very dense accent (obviously not her fault but I was interested to learn more). Really enjoyed the ride but did feel a bit rushed for the money. However would recommended Beyond Artic.
Was so fun!! The tour guide was lovely I’m English but I’m sure her name was Nima 🥹, food was AMAZING and catered for vegans and vegetarians! Would definitely recommend!! Went to two lovely cafe and met lovely people!
This is a must do when you’re visiting Rovaniemi in the winter time. This day tour takes you out to the Korouoma Canyon and its surrounding forest to see its frozen waterfalls and it was everything I was hoping for. We went hiking through a dense snow covered forest, the kind you would typically only see in professional photos and movies if you’re not living in Arctic Circle. The pictures and videos I got to capture of this winter wonderland were amazing and the frozen waterfalls along the canyon were a sight to behold! A big thank you to our guide, Vero for doing a fantastic job guiding us and making sure we were all safe throughout the whole tour! The tour started when we met our guide at the company office in Rovaniemi at 9 am and it ended when she brought us back to the office around 4 pm. The site is about a 2 hour drive southeast of Rovaniemi so the actual time we spent at the Korouoma Canyon Reserve was about 4 hours. This was a fantastic day trip and I definitely recommend you look into doing this when you’re visiting Rovaniemi in the winter time! - Nolan
Great tour. Amazing experience to drive under freezing temperatures. The team was very professional and nice. I want spotlight Nelson, incredible guide.
We did an hour snowmobile safari with Fede, it was a first time experience and was memorable. Well organised company clear instructions before and during the experience, the trail was beutiful and were lucky it was a sunny day.
This tour was great ! We saw the lights really strong and the guides help you with camera settings to get good pictures is them. We went to two different locations and saw them at both.
This was an amazing experience! They were incredibly well set up with loan outer jumpsuits, wool socks and boots to make sure we were very comfortable as it was -13 degrees! The reindeer herder was very knowledgeable and the animals looked to be very content and in healthy condition. We were seated one per sleigh and on a skin to keep warm and rug over our laps. We set off through the forest for well over 40 minutes with the reindeer taking their time. At one point the lead reindeer stopped to have a good dog at the ground as he’d smelt something delicious. He wasn’t hurried along but given a few minutes to enjoy before he chose to move on. After the ride we were able to feed them moss and then we were treated to a hot drink and cake while more of the animals was explained to us in a log cabin with crackling fire. Wouldn’t have missed this for the world
Well organized, the guide was excellent ,there was a lot of waiting but always something to do for the kids . There just seems to many people at the same time. There rides are very short but enough for small kids , they have longer rides available if you want . I would call this the instagram tour , you get to do everything in a few hours with plenty of picture opportunities .
The experience was good, but we were unlucky, and we couldn't see the northern lights due to cloudy weather. If your aim is to see it, then you should book another tour, which guarantees this (they will drive you to Sweden to find the light if necessary). The weather around Rovaniemi is quite cloudy, so it is very likely that you will miss the northern lights with this tour.
