Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Interesting and unusual art work. Only has two galleries so not a long visit . Good cafe. Ticket includes two other locations in Reykjavik.

A great spot to spend a post dinner evening. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the drinks. One of the Ice scuptures is due renewal (by the staffs own admission) due to it's location near the entrance - it suffers from the warmer air coming in as the door gets opened and closed, but don't let that put you off.
Fab last night in Iceland (our only one in Reykjavik)

Great little bar in the middle of the Main Street. Very cosy and the barman was really friendly and helped us pick some great beers. The raspberry beer with Skyr was really refreshing and tasty. Good atmosphere in here we would return.

This is not going to be the bar for everyone, but if you're of the mindset it's great. The decor is deliberately mismatched, as if kitted out that day from the local flea market, but with enough to stare at for a few pints if you're drinking alone. Great home-designed table tops, and Pat Boone looks down from his record sleeve on the wall at the exotic visitors. More graffiti than you've ever seen in your life positively encouraged in the toilet. Why not add "Cats Like Cold Crisps"? Friendly staff and reasonably priced beer that would have been even cheaper had we been there during happy hour.

Lovely place for a more traditional Icelandic food experience! Warm and cosy vibe and great menu (although I avoided the shark, puffin, whale and reindeer options!!) Busy but we were able to sit and have a drink whilst we waited for a table to become available. Pretty good price too, considering food in Iceland is very much on the expensive side. Would highly recommend!

If you want to know or buy Icelandic music this is the place. Very good collectiion of classical music. The staff is friendly and know a lot about Icelandic music and music in general.
Concerts every friday during the summer. They have good local beer and excellent coffee. Here you meet the locals.

In my opinion, Skuli is the best place for craft beer in Reykjavik. I visited four of the other top-rated locations in the city and Skuli had, by far, the best draft list, as well as a deep bottle list (if you don’ mind spending) of local and imports (quite a bit of lambic and Gueuze).

We found our way to Dillon on the main street just fine. It was crowded and lively. The second floor bar is amazing, there is a wonderful supply of whiskies from around the world. We didn't have anything there, because we were there for Blues music.

Eventually, the bartender joyously invited up to the third floor for the Blues. The bar there is a little sparser but we found some nice whiskey to try. The music was great but a bit on the loud side and we had forgotten our earplugs, so we only stayed one set. The crowd was enthusiastic and suitably diverse.

Sadly by the time we left it looked like their food service had shut down, so no word there. But a solid venue for Blues in Iceland.

Great little bar - very snug. Very chilled and a good mix of clientele. When we were in the bar we were able to sit in a cut alcove under the stairs which is perfect to people watch but also be close to the bar!

We always return to this cocktail bar when visiting Reykjavik. Relaxed atmosphere and good mixologists. Great spot to have a terrific classic cocktail and kick back. Bar is small and cozy. Does have outside seating when the weather permits.

The flight is a great way to sample beers from around Iceland! I stopped here when crowds were artificially low due to covid-19 travel restrictions. The live shows were not running but the bartender was very friendly and made me feel welcome. I thoroughly enjoyed the flight if Icelandic beers and a lamb soup and side of bread from Iceland street food a few doors down. I hope that if I am ever delayed in a city again, I find the people as kind, the beers as cold, and the food as comforting as I have found in Reykjavic.

Nice little "Irish" Pub. A bit loud but that is to be expected in an Irish Pub. Bar service was a little chaotic but the beer was cold
