Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went here a few times. There are places to sit, some portacabin toilets, and a lovely cafe where you can get drinks. There are trees for shade which is quite welcome!
We made sure we were there to watch the cannon going off at 4pm. The overlooking level is free or you can pay 3€ to watch 5m away from the cannon!

We didn’t really go around the village but we stayed on the beach. Anchor bay mainly. It was quieter than the village and very beautiful water. I had an u defeated camera and got loads of footage of the sea creatures and it was amazing. The water wasn’t too deep probably about 2-2.5 meters at anchor bay. It was quieter than the rest of the beaches in Malta so I would definetely recommend if you want it to be a little more quiet.

Stefano operated the canon while I was visiting, fascinating to see the canon working and Stefano explained how it works along with Malta's History, so good to see someone with knowledge and so detailed.

    Thank you 😊

Really enjoyed visiting the Citadel. There was lots to see; magnificent views from the ramparts; and most of the interesting places were free.
    Thoroughly recommended

Very reasonable price and fast trip. However, it would be better if the ferries were more frequent, as you have to wait around 30 minutes in between them. Seats are not very comfortable but as it's a short trip, it's alright.

The temples are beautiful and impressive. You can also hike inside the archeological site. Interesting museum. A great visit that I highly recommend!

It is a small village in Malta where you can visit, have lunch and buy a few souvenirs. My guess is that the number of local residents is very few and visitors are generally divided into two groups: those who come to dive and those who come to eat. It is not a village that can be reached from anywhere by public transportation, rent. It is very easy to reach by taxi, restaurant prices are not exaggerated, elderly people and families with children need to be careful, but it is still a village worth seeing.

Really impressed by the ferry service both ways. Very efficient and clean. Staff seemed very experienced. We had two good crossings.

Make sure you arrive there at 6am the latest as otherwise you will not see the most pictureque event, the fishermen coming back with their fish. It is very nice to see gorgeous fish on display at the market on Sunday mornings. Great to see the typical Maltese colourful small boats. The churhc located nearby Our Lady of Pompei offers a beautiful view from the outside.

We checked into our hotel in Qawra but our room was ready so we walked to the aquarium and spent a couple of hours looking at the fish etc., it was a great place to visit, you learn about Malta and it’s wildlife. It is well run, and clean. Usual gift shop which seemed to be reasonably priced.

Valleta is an amazing and beautiful city. The waterfront is a must, and if you want to see the gun salute at noon, get there early for a good view as it gets very crowded

Make an effort to go here if you are on Gozo. There is some parking and a short walk takes you to a view point. There are also some steps where you can go down almost to sea level. People were squeezing past the locked gate - probably there because a section of the hand rail is missing. Superb place for photos.

Nice beach but quite crowded as small in the sandy bits. The rest was very barren and rocky. Sea lovely and great views!
