What travellers are saying
- DesertDweller32Phoenix AZ656 contributionsVisit first thing in the morning for a peaceful experience.
Very small interior with incredible artwork throughout. A few steps down and you enter Lazarus's tomb.
Worth a visit - no admission charge.Written 5 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Miclaus MirceaRomania27 contributionsThe beach is located near the airport (you can see the planes with landings), the sand is fine, the beach is big enough (the sunbed costs 2 €), and the entrance to the sea is smooth.
Warm water without waves. It is the ideal place for families with small children or those who want a quiet holiday.
In the immediate vicinity there are a multitude of restaurants, terraces, shops and even a (large) toilet where you can take a shower and change your beach clothes.Written 28 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - DesertDweller32Phoenix AZ656 contributionsI spent the better part of three days here: twice in the afternoon and once in the morning. It seems there is always somewhere available to sit - chair and umbrella to rent are quite affordable. Only ended up having to pay one of the three days: the day I arrived in the morning!
Water is clean, and sand is generally clean.Written 6 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Miclaus MirceaRomania27 contributionsThe lake is beautiful during the "winter", when there is water and it is full of flamingos.
In summer, the lake is completely dry, and the white (salt) color amplifies your feeling of wonder.Written 28 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Roberts69Northampton, UK16,945 contributionsAs an experienced advanced open water and speciality deep diver with nearly 300 logged dives I was looking forward to my 2 dives on the wreck of the MS Zenobia and it didn't disappoint. The water visibility was excellent and this massive wreck, 172m long, had plenty to see. We went down to the prop's at 40m and also did a swim through the canteen. Plenty of marine life including a nice moray eel. Plenty of Cypriot Dive Centres offer dives here, many of them operating from the Larnaca Marina based "Queen Zenobia". This was an excellent dive vessel with plenty of room, easy entry and exit and an excellent lunchtime BBQ.Written 20 October 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- adrianasN3066JFBratislava, Slovakia1 contributionBest experience you can get on Cyprus.
Lovely place, where you can try doing your own pots or bowls. Owners are amaizing, talkative, helpful people.Written 28 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - laczkozsuDebrecen, Hungary859 contributionsNear Larnaka Salt Lake, on the road to Kiti we visited this impressive mosque. We knew the interesting story about its origin and formation. Now it’s considered to be the 4th most important religious sites globally for Muslims. It’s simpler inside but we saw the tomb of Umm Haram, which maybe is a monumental monolitic tomb of the prehistoric period. It’s worth a visit, but it’s not easy to reach with public transport. We had to wear mask to enter the garden.Written 16 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- DesertDweller32Phoenix AZ656 contributionsGo first thing in the morning and you will have the place basically to yourself. Worth the admission fee. Quick visit is enough.
Relaxing overall experienceWritten 5 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - lbtraveller77Athens, Greece209 contributionsYou can have a nice walk to the sea port where you can book boat trip or just enjoy the walk. It is long walk in between 2 sea ports, almost 5000 steps. You can visit the castle on your way on the marina. Restaurants all over the walk with many varieties. It ia possible to rent a bike abmnd enjoy a sunny day...Written 31 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- augitropics15 contributions08.2020 Relaxed place to hang out,
Shower is free
For diving /snorkel this part of the beach is not interesting. There are no corals or similar sensational wildlife watching.Written 4 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - laczkozsuDebrecen, Hungary859 contributionsThe old Aqueduct was built in 1745 to provide Larnaca with water. It was the largest of three and is known in Greek as „Kamares” which means ’Arches”. It dominates the landscape on the Larnaca –Limassol road 3 kms from the town. It’s worth to visit and take some photos.Written 17 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Maurits_van_EijckRueschlikon, Switzerland256 contributionscheap entry. Lots of interesting artefacts on show and loads of history on display. Upstairs was closed, which was a pityWritten 14 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Stephne AShaka's Rock, South Africa746 contributionsWe had lunch organised for us at Christoudia Winery which was traditional Cypriot food at its best! The accompanying wines were delicious and the dessert wines were especially good.
Highly recommended.Written 9 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Michael WRochester, UK28 contributionsThe sand on this beach, and others in Larnaca, is similar in colour and texture to a poor concrete mix. That said this beach is very pleasing and safe. Lovely for swimming and sunbathing. Plenty of sun beds were available. The water was probably the least clear i’ve seen in any holiday destination. But all thing taken into account a very pleasing beach. Lvely ice cream shops nearby...Written 20 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Rosh Pinna6 contributionsThis is a small jewel of museum, the kind of place that will define your memory of your visit to Cyprus. The exhibits are all available to be handled and of great interest in themselves. But the acme was a conversation with the owner, a semi-retired doctor who was full of anecdote, humour and avuncular charm. He had 2 sweet little Dachshunds and even treated to us tot a tot of the local liquor ("will keep you healthy all day"). Set us up for the day!Written 29 May 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
