Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The trip started with light rain. By the time we entered Snowdonia NP it was raining horizontally. That didn't stop our driver Frank, as we drove along the back roads. What a wonderful trip in a wonderful country. I wish that the tour site would list the town for the lunch break so we could have researched restaurants in advance.

Our family group of 7 people ranging in ages 8 to 70 spent a wonderful day with our guide Freddie. Freddie managed our timelines with great care ensuring that we all arrived & departed from the various locations on time, but with plenty of time to enjoy the stops. He provided very interesting commentary on all aspects of the area; especially knowledgeable on the history & culture. The van was comfortable and we all felt very safe & confident in Freddie’s driving skills. We packed a picnic, but there were opportunities to purchase food at several stops. We felt there was a perfect mix of tour vs free time. We would highly recommend this tour led by a proudly Welsh local company.

Trevor was our fabulous guide; how did he do it? We saw so much of the national park and yet did not feel at all like we were on a rushed conveyor belt. Visited 2 charming villages, Bews-y-Coed and Beddgelert, went to Dolbadarn Castle made famous by paintings by Turner, even visited a wooden Welsh dragon sculpted by an artist from a fallen tree branch! For us, the highlight was the National Slate Museum, which has a very good introductory film and many interesting exhibits, especially the miners' cottages at different times in slate making history. All this while you can look up and see the remains of the slate mine on the hill. Very moving. Because none of us tarried shopping the villages, Trevor was able and delighted to add 2 stops to our tour. So unexpected! We were able to get out and photograph Caernarfon Castle and then on to the train station on Anglesey, you know, the one with the longest name that you learned about in school. We practiced saying it for Trevor. This was the best single day of our Welsh vacation.

Great way to see the sights with a good clear commentary. Only drawback I found was the seats upstairs were hard and uncomfortable

I cannot recommend this tour enough! My mother and I did a 4 day tour of Northern Wales. We were stunned by the beauty of Wales! We visited Conway, Snowdonia, Caernarfon, Llandudno and the Isle of Anglesey. John, our guide, was knowlegeable and attentive. He was great about adjusting the tour to meet our needs. We got to visit all the amazing and hard-to-get-to places that the big tours would never take you to! I fell in love with Wales, and can't wait to go back with my children!

It was an excellent tour covering most of North Wales. Chris is an amazing tour guide who gave us loads of information. I booked really last minute and the website kept saying to book 2 people but when I called Chris, he was very flexible and booked me as a single person. He even took the payment later. It was an amazing day and I had a great time. I highly recommend going on this tour.

John was an amazing tour guide and human being! My mother and I traveled to Liverpool from London, and John was able to manage picking us up from our hotel which we were very thankful for. We learned the day prior that our Snowden railway train tour had been canceled due to high winds, but John was on the ball with a different train tour which was lovely! We saw all the beautiful sites that Northern Wales had to offer and were very appreciative of John to have told us about it and shown us around whilst telling us marvelous tales! He stopped at multiple sites that others don't always get to see. We were shown sites to take wonderful pictures and so happy with how they all turned out! The can was also incredibly comfortable and spacious. He also provided water which was an absolute savior. Book a tour or tours with John and Boutique Tours. It'll be the best decision you make in Wales!!!!

I really love this place and as a member visit regularly but, why the change to the regulations about dogs? A top ten botanical garden which is dog friendly but only on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday together with Wednesday evenings between the months of April to September, why?? When asked the question the member of staff said it was so the gardeners can do their jobs without finding dog poo around, so dogs don't poo at weekends?

This app is an absolute waste of my time.... And money!

We tried numerous places to visit and ALL of them had restricted access. No passing.

Please, dont waste your time or money.

The tour guide knew quite well about Welsh culture and heritage. The day was spent on time sightseeing and exploring landmarks such as the Snowdonia National Park and Mount Snowdon. I also saw some ancient castles. I bought some memoirs from a welsh art and craft shops.
