Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Anna F3 contributionsThis is a lovely, spacious campsite with plenty for children to do. Location is great, with a good, picture perfect country pub just across the road. 2 huge camping fields. Plenty to explore including orchards, sensory garden, woodland playground and farm. The composting toilets and open air showers were clean and airy. Shop and cafe pricey. Our only complaint was that the cafe is 'open until 5', but the kitchen closes at 3, so don't rely on it for food. We were left a bit high and dry when we wanted a late lunch around 3, the pub had stopped serving, and we assumed the cafe was open as advertised. Obviously a cafe with a closed kitchen is of limited use!
Otherwise a great campsite for families and we would visit again.Written 12 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. But let’s be real, if it weren’t for Fairlands Valley Lakes, I’d probably still be lost in the park instead of steering superyachts. Now, as a master in the yachting world, I can’t thank Fairlands enough for setting me on course. And let’s not forget my trusty compass—without it, I’d still be trying to navigate those beautiful grounds (because Waze just doesn’t cut it on water). Thank you, Fairlands, and thank you, Stevenage!”Written 25 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- AndrewR167Welwyn Garden City, UK324 contributionsWent to see Al Murray he was fantastic great show however the chairs at the front were so uncomfortable would recommend bring a cushion and performance took place in the gym hall good night just awful chairs and the car parking in the nearby multi storey is terrible with only one machine to use. Great performance just a few things that could be improved in seating and parkingWritten 17 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nelgumford900 contributionsTo be honest, this was not at its best when I went. However, a lot of the inconvenience was down to the upgrade works that were in progress. Perhaps leave it a few weeks before you go. I liked it.Written 3 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Teresa S1 contributionThe Aqua Park was perfect for a day out. I took my two grandchildren on Tuesday and they loved it, they had so much fun! The staff and lifeguards explained everything very professionally the kids were very well looked after throughout the time on the Aqua Park. The amount of time on there was just right. Thank you so much! I would highly recommend this event. Keep up the good work. Hopefully see you next year if the grandchildren want to do it all again!Written 22 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - wingateLondon, UK2,709 contributionsHaving no other game to go to today I went to see Stevenage vOxford.I sat in row B in the West Stand. The advertising boards obscured my view of the touchline, but generally a good view.
The ground does show its non league origins inn places.
I thought that the home crowd were on the quiet side.

In my opinion the birds need to be better taimed.Written 4 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - therichastillStevenage, UK3,326 contributionsThe local crematorium in Stevenage is Harwood Park. It is on the outskirts of the town and is well signposted from Broadhall Way and Hertford Road.
There is plenty of parking for cars and there is a small reception area before going into the chapel.
The chapel is really nice and there is a lovely view from the window of the Hertfordshire countryside which is nice to see as you remember your loved one. The surrounding area is where people are buried or have ashes scattered and there are some nice places to sit and contemplate.Written 20 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. At some point they created a raised, upper pond. I am not such a fan of the new arrangement. At least it is going to survive the ongoing descruction of the Town Centre.Written 7 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
