Dunham Massey is a truly special place to walk around on your own or with a friend - enjoy nature and unwind.

The deer park is a highlight – peaceful and spacious, with plenty of opportunities to spot the deers up close. You can also walk to the farm or take a gander at the mill.

The café and gift shop are generally what you expect from National Trust.

Day trip to see Concorde. Plenty of picnic benches to sit and eat and watch aircraft’s. Plenty of parking. Cafe and shop. Outside toilets smelt bad but there were also some inside which were better. Play area for kids.
Concorde quick visit for £6, this was enough with a small child. It was nice to go onboard and get photos. Walked around aircraft for full view. Worth it for the price.

Came here as I was with my sister in Altrincham for the day with my sister and she’s been here before with her husband so it was nice to come here and see the place for myself.

Very busy which is a good sign and lots of choice food and drink wise. Sister went for pie and mash and I went for a cheeseburger and chips. The wait was long for the food when others seemed to get their orders quickly but when it did arrive it honestly was one of the nicest burgers I’ve had! This was The Tender Cow.

Went to the wine bar and got a glass of Amie wine which is my new favourite wine and it was recommended to my sister as a good drink and it really was! Also noticed they had three different flavours of Torres crisps available and as these are hard to come by in my local town I got all three to try at home! Guy serving was absolutely lovely. This was Reserves Wines.

Hoping we will be back in the new year and I wouldn’t hesitate to return here it’s a grand spot.

This is an amazing public art gallery supporting great local artists, and run by (friendly) volunteers :). They're very involved in the community + run quite a few art/creativity workshops (which I haven't had a chance to attend yet). Definitely worth a visit if you're exploring Altrincham.

Attended this Sunday with my family (party of 5). My first time skating in the UK since moving over from Canada, so used rental skates like everyone else and was all over the place (I am an avid skater). All 5 pairs were dull and had rolled edges, my pair had rust marks on the steel. I've seen a few posts insisting your skates are checked on a regular basis, I didn't know Stevie Wonder had a side hustle. Dull blades seemed to be a common theme for customers. I think sharp skates would give a better customer experience, easily managed with a sharpening rota.

I've since ordered a new pair of Bauers and will return because this is my only local rink and I love the ice, but I do seriously doubt your skates are being sharpened, and if they are and in this condition, I'd be reluctant to let you loose on my own pair.

Very good, decent shops not your usual high street range of cake shops and barbers etc.
only negative all outside so in poor weather you may not enjoy it as much

Nice beer, the inside reminded me of school dining hall, had to queue for the toilets. Overpriced food, (IMO).
I then walked 200 yards to a proper pub with a good atmosphere and a lot cheaper and same quality beer.
Others may like it, but it's not for me.

What a fabulous experience!! I highly recommend Zero Gravity Float Spa.
I had my first 'float' at the end of December and found it a really pleasant experience, I wasn't sure what to expect but the friendly, informative members of staff put me at ease and gave very clear instructions.
I enjoyed it so much I have returned a few times since, even introducing a friend in the process who also enjoyed it. I have found I relax into it quicker each time I go.
The facilities are very clean and tidy.
The float really helps to relax you and relieve any stresses and strains in your body, you feel very calm with a clearer mind after the session.

What a great afternoon out pumpkin picking! The staff were so friendly, the tractor ride from the car park was so much fun, as was the maze! The kids had such a fun day out. Reasonably priced pumpkins too!

Lovely bar, with the added bonus of being able to sample the ales by ordering a platter of 3 1/3rd pints.
Seating area outside which is lively on a warm summers evening, heaters are there for when it turns a little cooler. The outside area is under glass, which is good protection against the usual British summer weather. Staff are pleasant and polite. Prices are reasonable too. Worth a visit.
